Looks like rubbish to me, but other opinions may vary.

60/70s could be combined into one decade tbh.

He already said it's just going to cover issue #1-280, so the decades thing is moot.

Can't believe this is going to be twice yearly. I assume each issue will be huge.

This has certainly caught my attention. Depending on the month this is released, I'll hopefully have a room for it.

I think the distinctions get glossed over too much among early X-Men. There's a pretty big difference between the early Stan Lee stories and the later Roy Thomas ones. That being said, when did they start reprints? Obviously, that time doesn't count. But I would appreciate if they split up the first sixty or so issues into more than one issue.

It's almost like it's fans, plural. Different strokes, different folks.

ZOINKS! Maybe, just maybe, fans don't operate under a hivemind.

While I agree, it ends up with a bit of a Marvel can't win either way, particularly when criticism is voiced in absolute terms (about what is or isn't good rather than about what is personally appealing to that person).

I know this miniseries didn't seem to get much attention, but there's a wonderful interview of Ed Piskor by Jay Edidin over at X-Plain the X-Men. Definitely made me excited about this.

This looks cool...but I'll skip the first ones. The 05 without the other members bore me.

I enjoyed this issue quite a bit. I honestly don't know why I didn't think this would start with flashbacks. I kind of assumed this issue was the Stan Lee stuff, the next issue would be the rest of the pre-Claremont stuff. I feel the next issue will have to cram quite a bit in it if they want to do those stories justice.
