Default Brian Ching just tweeted he is leaving Supergirl

Any word on who is taking over?

I'm kind of sad. His art was perfect for Supergirl. Cute and adorable and his Cat was perfect.

Daniel Henriques and Robson Rocha are taking over.

Rocha is penciling the issues, and Henriques is inking.

The style is more like your typical comic book art, which I find disappointing.

I prefer Ching's stylized art to the genericness of the new art team.

In Supergods, Morrison said something like how the task of the artist isn't to recreate reality on the page, but to recreate the vision in their mind on the page. I'm more partial to that line of thinking when it comes to my preference in art styles.

Don't really care for the style. Makes Supergirl look too old and too sexy. But as long as they keep Steve Orlando I guess I can deal with it. Steve has given us the best Supergirl in decades.

I would've liked to have seen Luppachino stick around as the main series artist.

I think she'd probably be the best balance between Ching and Rocha's styles while also being suited for a Supergirl book.

Haven't we known that Ching was leaving since back in May?

Yes, art will be an improvement but Orlando will still keep me from buying. I'm sure I'll page through it now at least.
