Silver Age Hulk Omnibus Volume 2, Marie Severin, Herb Trimpe, and John Severin have got to be my favorite Hulk team ever.

    House of Slaughter volume 3.

It focuses on Jace Boucher, a character from the first volume. Jace tries to lead a new life away from hunters and monsters. When he's separated from one of his sons, he returns home to confront the past he left behind.

A tighter narrative than volume 2 and pays off better in its conclusion.

I'm about to read Four Gathered On Christmas Eve it has 70 pages so will be a quick read. I do love my Victorian ghost stories at Christmas, so I'm hoping that at least one of the stories will reach that bar. It's about A5 size, Mike Mignola and Eric Powell are both involved so what more can you ask for at this time of year.

Finally cracked Batman: Creature Of The Night by Kurt Busiek and John Paul Leon, after having it for ages. The first chapter definitely has me intrigued.

    Brink vol 1-5

A reread of an excellent sci-fi series.

Does anyone know if/when Abnett/Culbard will return with new Brink chapters in 2000AD?

It sounds like it's expected to happen this year, at least I saw someone say that on a forum somewhere. Sounds likely! Abnett is always around in 2000AD. I've been meaning to read that too.

Thanks. It's usually hard to tell from solicits exactly what a given 2000AD issue actually contains. I suppose Brink will get put out as a separate OGN after the fact anyway. I highly recommend reading it, by the way!!

2000AD comics are usually too out-there for me, but sometimes they hit, like Brink, Absalom, and select Dredd stories.

Avengers volume 1(2023) "the impossible city". Solid blockbuster.

The Twilight Court are cool new characters and I'd be into them getting a spinoff.

Very cool, I've been meaning to read Tellos, I have the first trade and single issues up through 10. Is the mini-series and one shot stuff after that essential as well, or does it fall off a bit?

It's fun to read, but not essential. I've read it in the oversized deluxe edition and that's great. I always prefer oversized art.
