    Jungle Girl Season 3

    JungleS3.jpg

I enjoyed this closing chapter/season on Jana but this was either rushed or not as well thought out as I'd have liked. The angle with her Dad went in a totally different direction.
I also feel that the story "ends" with one of those Star Trek time loop type devices where the end is really the begining or some such. Events looping on each other. I need it explained to me if I've got it wrong.
Jana goes through the sky anomaly and then we see a few panels later a plane crash and a baby girl rescued on the beach. Which is how Jana relays being there earlier in S1.
I'd be game for more Jungle Girl but that isn't on the horizon. I'm not going to search for the Swords of Sorrow crossover Dynamite did where she plays a role.

After finishing off the A Touch of Typhoid Epic Collection, I'm now giving Born Again another read.

Captain America : Heroes Return - The Complete Collection Vol. 1 - Enjoying it so far! The only low point for me is the art. Never been a huge fan of 90s comic art.

Doom Patrol By Gerard Way And Nick Derington: The Deluxe Edition

I bought the first six issues on Comixology way back when but never followed it up. Re-reading those first, and they're even crazier than I remembered.

The three volumes of Miracleman by The Original Writer, Garry Leach, Alan Davis, John Totleben and more!

I'm also re-reading These Savage Shores, by Ram V, Sumit Kumar and Vittorio Astone. Just as good as I remembered!

I really like these. Are you also going for the Uncaged and Red omni's or are you quitting after vol. 3?

I guess I'm quitting after Vol 3. I really love this material, but I prefer collecting in Trades (I find them easier to read), that's why I didn't order vol 1, since I have up to issue # 50 in trades. I find the omnibus quite a heavy investment (no pun intended), and I don't have many, just stuff I REALLY love. And next on my list for next year are the Rom Omnibus vol. 1 and the New Warriors Classic Omnibus vol. 3.

    Peace

Stray Bullets Sunshine and Roses Part 2, “Change of Plans”. This has to be the scariest bunch of criminals in comics.
