I don't know how you could enjoy the crossover without having read Jack of Fables but it was a very rough start for me. One day I will reread them to see if it works better knowing whats going on from issue 1.

That said I personally think you could stop reading Fables when the war ends. I don't think it ever reached those heights again.

Interesting....After I finish a bunch of new books I've acquired, I'm going to dive back into Fables and read the entire series (That second half I upgraded with the hardcovers is still shrink-wrapped). I'm looking forward to seeing how the cross-over is, especially since most people speak down on it.

I disagree on Fables never reaching its heights again after the war ended. I actually enjoyed some of the later storylines more....."Cubs in Toyland", Mr. Dark, etc....

just finished Green Arrow Rebirth, vol. 1 Deluxe and back to Wolverine Epic Collection, vol. 1. The last issue i read was Wolverine, Joe Fixit team up in Madripoor. Wolverine was still going with the name of Patch. They stopped a international criminal organisation which was producing drugs in Madripoor. It was fun. It has been a while since the last time i read Wolverine Epic Collection, so the rest of the book was kind of blur that came back to me piece by piece as read.

After a short break from reading any collected editions, I'm now reading Amazing Spider-man: The Complete Alien Costume Saga Book 2.

The Wicked + The Divine HC 2. The first one got me intrigued so I continued immediately. Good fun.

I've started reading the SHAZAM! A celebration of 75 Years HC before I go see the movie of the original Captain Marvel.

Cracked open the Infinite Crisis omnibus - hadn't really re-read most of this material since 2006 or 2007. I missed it

Finished the first X-Factor Epic collection. I read these as they came out when I was 13.

Ugh...I had no idea how bad these were at the time. I’m guessing my fond memories were of when the Simonsons fully took over, which was immediately after where this book ends.
