I was holding out for Vol 6 to re-read/binge the whole series, so I haven't read 5 yet, but this series is great. This makes me want to go ahead and read it.

halfway through the Grayson Superspy omnibus and I'm really enjoying it. Even the Tom King penned issues and the Future's end one. What happened to King between this and his Batman run? Maybe he needed Seeley to make it work.

Started to read the Avengers: Standoff OHC. It's a decent read. Before reading it , I read a few runs leading up to it. The Uncanny Avengers line-up felt a little forced but wasn't bad. The idea was that Steve Rogers puts together "regular" heroes, mutants and also an Inhuman "Synapse" to show that they can work together. Of all the various post Secret Wars Avengers runs, I found the New Avengers the least "edible". Al Ewing is a fantastic writer and is one of the best Marvel have at the moment but I felt he forcibly pushes his liberal agenda in New Avengers. There were two runs that only made 7-8 issues or so but i found quite enjoyable: Howling Commandos of SHIELD (made up of various monsters) and The Illuminati. The latter is written by Joshua Williamson and is well written and quite fun. It's focused on the Hood putting together a crew and I went in thinking it to be a Superior Foes of SM copy, but it's not and well orth a read.

I finished the Avengers: Standoff OHC. Not a bad read. So it's during this event, Steve Rogers is back to his youthful self and the seeds of Secret Empire are sown.

Let me know what you thought at the end. As I mentioned previously, I wasn't as impressed as I thought that I would be.

Just finished The Goon Library Edition Vol. 1 and absolutely loved it! Can't wait to read the rest.

Now I'm 6 issues in the Aquaman by Goeff Johns Omnibus. It's my first time reading any Aquaman and I think it's pretty good! It reads well and the art is really nice.

My Aquaman is waiting for me across the Atlantic...

I started Wolfmans Teen Titans. So far, so so good.
That is the land of lost content, I see it shining plain, the happy highways where I went and cannot come again.
