Finished X-Factor Omnibus vol 2 by Peter David and I enjoyed it a lot. And I was surprised how organic the stories felt within the MEGA EVENTS the X-titles were going through - namely House of M and Civil War (although I think it didn't work quite as well during Messiah Complex). I know there is a third omnibus coming out later this year, how is the material in that vol?
Now I'm reading Vagabond.
I read Criminal Vol 5: The Sinners this afternoon in one sitting.
Brubaker and Phillips are the best there is at what they do.
I finished She-Hulk by Dan Slott omnibus yesterday. Not a fan of Slott usually but I thought this series was great.
Moved onto Batman by Scott Snyder Vol.1 omnibus now. I'm enjoying it for the most part but not as much as other Batman series. The court of owls stuff never really clicked with me the same way it did everyone else. Still though, it's nice to be reading some Batman again as it's been quite a while.
SHAZAM! The World’s Mightiest Mortal Vol. 3… the first two are by CC Beck and Kurt Shaffenberger. They are such great “cartoony”super hero stories . The third volume is by Don Newton and has such a different, grittier feel even though the author writer is the same!?!
Fantastic Four Ultimate Collection vol 4 (Waid/Weiringo)
“Generally, one knows me before hating me” -Quicksilver
Decades 1980s. Pretty fun book with some "best of" 80s stories.

Nocterra by Sott Snyder with art by Tony Daniel
I have just finished the first tpb and am going to start on the second one tonight(probably read 2 issues). I found this to be a very good read. The set up and explanations were done quickly allowing you to get into the universe. Snyder then still dropped intriguing narrative bits throughout, mainly in flashback, and concluded the first arc with a good cliffhanger. If my research was right this is a glorified maxi-series with no follow-ups currently planned. If I missed something someone more in the know please let me know. While the existing story wraps up in 6 more issues I have to believe there is plenty left to explore/examine within "The Big PM".

Just flew through TMNT The Last Ronin. Really enjoyed it and need some more Turtles now! I'll have to get back to the IDW series.

"The Batman is Gotham City. I will watch him. Study him. And when I know him and why he does not kill, I will know this city. And then Gotham will be MINE!"-BANE
"We're monsters, buddy. Plain and simple. I don't dress it up with fancy names like mutant or post-human; men were born crueler than Apes and we were born crueler than men. It's just the natural order of things"-ULTIMATE SABRETOOTH
Very cool! I'm on Uncanny X-Men 168 (From the Ashes collection)
