Finished up Snyder and Capullo's Batman Vol 1 Omnibus. It was better than I remember, very good art, but I still didn't absolutely love it. Worth a read but I'm not sure I'll revisit this anytime soon.

Before I start on Batman Vol 2, I'm going to try out some manga. I just got Berserk Deluxe Vol 1. Never read this before but I've read great reviews on it.

The Band of the Hawk (Golden Age arc) is legendary. I know it more from the 90s anime series.

The Best part was Golden Age Arc as far as i read. Berserk is good beyond Golden Age Arc as well, but it kind of felt like i was reading a shonen manga for a while at some point after Goldern Age arc, but later on it got back on track again. My brain fails me, i can't quite tell where it exactly started to read like shonen after Goldern Age Arc... It has been at least 8 years since i read those parts. I am not at the current chapters though... I am at chapter 287 at the begining of sea adventure to go elfhelm. Most of people i saw on the internet were complaning about the sea arc. It seemed like Berserk got out of track once again with the sea arc. Berserk should have ended shortly after Eclipse, if you ask me.

I read the Deluxe Vol 1 and it was really good. I think I'll continue and get Vol 2 since it continues the Golden Age that began at the end of Vol 1.

It is about time to read the most famous Judge Dredd story.

    Carnage Reigns

I just jumped right in despite being a few years behind on Carnage stories.
Overall I felt like I could follow along ok, no part because I'd read discussion in the Spider threads and flip through issues on the stand.
If I followed it then it seems the Carnage entity is in two parts? Some with Cletus on earth and another out in the Cosmos seeking to obtain/re-obtain godlike status.
I've added Cult of Carnage and Red Goblin tpb vols 1&2 to my IST cart for a future purchase. There is no rush on my part.
Learned that Miles parents now know/have known he is Spider-man. Miles in an Iron Spider suit was cool. Also, congrats on being a big brother Miles.
The Cape Killers team assembled by Agent Gao was....interesting. Mac Gargan/Scorpion was a jewel to read in this also I felt.
Has Gao and/or this Cape Killers group shown up anywhere else?

Finished “Arkham Asylum”. This was my first time reading it and, while the art isn’t my cup of tea, I found the whole book to be both excellent and disturbing. Awesome read.

Reading the completely annotated script afterwards was also quite useful to fill in some gaps and understand some of the references.
