Ok, so like, I always read 1 DC collected edition and 1 Marvel collected edition at the same time..... I’m currently reading New Teen Titans volume 2 in trade and Werewolf By Night Vol. 1 in trade.

My next Marvel volume, I was thinking of reading Captain Britain. Does it make sense if I read in this order? 1. Captain Britain: Birth of a Legend 2. Siege of Camelot 3. Captain Britain Omnibus???
Favorite Characters: Wolfsbane, Storm, Psylcoke, Beast, Feral, Tempo, Nightcrawler, Quicksilver

Favorite Titles: X-Men Red, Legion of X, Marauders, Hellions

Great reading, first Black Cat apearence,Kingpin,Mysterio and it have the Burglar from Spider-Man first story.
The Fly is featured in a story, well there could not be just great villains in this TPB.

Almost done with Gillen's Journey Into Mystery. I thought it started off very strong, but after the Fear Itself tie-ins, it took a bit of a downturn. Nothing terrible, but not as exciting as the first quarter of the book.

It makes absolutely perfect sense. That's how it should be read.

I finished reading Edge of Spider-Verse TPB and the Spider-Verse OHC. I decided to read it chronologically and followed the reading order set out in the OHC. Although, there was quite a bit of page flipping, I enjoyed the read and I'm glad I read it that way.

It was quite entertaining and an improvement on the Amazing Spider-Man (2014) Vol. 1 OHC and a nice break from the Ramos back-breaking art.

I also read through Secret Avengers (2013) by Nick Spencer, Luke Ross & Butch Guice and Secret Avengers (2014) by Ales Kot & Michael Walsh. Both thoroughly good reads.

Hawkeye by Matt Fraction Omnibus - a refreshing and entertaining read. I much preferred the Clint issues to the Kate issues, but they all came together to give an unusual and engaging experience. The art and colours by David Aja and Matt Hollingsworth, respectfully, were very good indeed.

Reading the Thor 3 Omnibus which I have loved. I have now passed from the Stan Lee/Kirby issues and am into the Stan Lee/Buscema issues (there is also a pretty decent and beautifully drawn Neal Adams 2 part story). So far the post Kirby issues have stood up really well story and writing wise. It feels like it carries on without missing a beat. So Stan Lee had to be doing something right. Art wise, this volume has some excellent Kirby art and his general style continues on after he leaves (I assume it was requested to maintain the Kirby style). I highly recommend this volume. Some of the most fun I've had with any of the classic Silver Age Marvel Material.

Seeing as it wasn't long ago since I finished Secret Wars, I'm now reading ASM - The Complete Alien Costume Saga Book 1.

Finished the Avengers Epic Collection 7 (Avengers/Defenders war). Overall I liked it. Pretty solid 70's material except for "The Swordsman" who is a pretty weak character. I'm not sure I liked anything about him. Carrying on with the masterworks now to continue on 70's Avengers. On another note, I am a fan of the epic collection. Its a nice easy to read size. I tend to gravitate towards starting an epic collection when I get one in an order. I'm going to start picking up more of them.

I finished that and part 2 the end of last year. Really enjoyed them and I love how they included Spectacular Spidey as well. Now I'm waiting until the Micheline/Macfarlane omni gets reissued before moving forward, so I went back to the beginning and read ASM omni 1. Absolutely incredible book.

Now I'm reading the Alpha Flight omni - it's actually better than I anticipated. Great writing and pacing overall, love the scene shifts (maybe this is more attributable to editing). A few of the stories drag a bit, but I'm about 10 issues from the end and wouldn't mind reading further. I've noticed that Byrne's art looks better when Bob Wiacek comes on as inker, but may just be my preference.

This is exactly what I'm intending to do! I've got the Spider-man by Mcfarlane omni and the Michelinie/Larsen omni sitting on my shelf waiting for the Michelinie/Mcfarlane omni to join them. I don't intend to read them until I get the Michelinie/Mcfarlane omni and read that first. So in the team time, I'm going to go back and read the first 3 omnis. I struggle to read silver age stuff one after another though so I'll break it up with other books in between.
