    That it lasted for a good length of time before going away doesn't mean it's going to come back around again.     Doesn't mean that it won't either. If "marriage" is so much "baggage it's surprising how much success DC Comics is having with it.

    Completely different characters and different situations.

    If you're talking about Superman, that's a very different situation than Spider-Man.

    And if you're talking about Batman, he hasn't gotten married yet. This being Batman, some kind of tragic resolution would not be surprising.

    Also, Spider-Man has been very successful without the marriage. And the Spider book that does have a married Peter Parker - Renew Your Vows - is out now for anyone who's interested.

    But this is a discussion for the Spider boards - one that's been had many times over there - not a Captain America thread.
