When you crush an ant beneath your foot, do feel remorse? No. Is this because you are evil or because you recognize yourself as a higher form of life? This is what the Wizard could not understand. If I have the powers of the gods, then am I not a god myself? Should I not be treated as such?
Tough crowd, I guess. The FF similarities are obviously intentional, so im confused about the complaints. This looks like something I'll be into b/c sometimes I get tired of Justice League, SS, BOP and Titans being the only options when it comes to team books.
Most of them are combos of the different aspects of F4.
Mr. Terrific - 2nd smartest guy in the world, science, leader, can get lost in his work, invents stuff.
Metamorpho - The big strong guy, can transmute into any element or compound, can change to gas, liquid, solid states - by extension incendiary
Plastic Man - The stretchy one, happy-go-lucky goofy prankster, impulsive, uses humor to mask insecurities.
Phantom Girl - Intangibility, phasing, shielding-ish ability.
Probably because they haven't decided if they will used the real version/Michael in flims, many of Mr T fans have zero interest seeing him being part of team arrow/ green arrow lackey/sidekick so the Curtis version which more less a completely different character is better served in that role, also I heard the Crutis version is sopposed to be Michael brother (Michael has 1 or 2 brother in comics iirc both are dead.. It seem petty similar to Jax Firestorm situation, - where they took a supporting characters of lead hero & made them the hero, but get to more less write em how ever they want with less complains form their fan base..
I can't wait! I wish Jeff Parker were writing this, though. Or Matt Fraction.
Absolutely.

Geoff Johns has some good ideas for super-heroes, but the T-spheres is not something I've ever come around to liking. And the more they do it, the more it feels like they're trying to force the idea that it's cool. I also don't like the T mask.
Actually the whole emphasis on T reminds me that he's Mr. T.--where maybe they should play up other aspects of the character like the "Play Fair" motif.
I'm not quite getting how people interpret this as a FF thing...other than something fantastic can be considered terrific.
Seriously...I would otherwise think this was just some team...not BASED off of anything.
