Well, Rachel is from the Days of Future Past timeline, which is kind of its own distinct dimension, but was presented as "the" future when she was first introduced. Similarly, the O5 were originally presented as coming from "the" past, but now are more likely from another, distinct dimension. It's comics. They rarely make sense logically, especially when you add time travel.

so pretty much if Rachel has been in the main marvel universe for years then most likely 05 is not going back

i kind of like both, but neither are one of my favorite x-men. i'll go with Psylocke though. I feel she's pretty cool most of the time

Both psis were interesting under Lord Claremont, in Uncanny and Excalibur. They both have rather complex backstories, and are both high end telepaths/telekinetics, but overall, I just prefer Elizabeth. She has a better defined personality.
