The Red-Eyed Vampire from Earth-1298 : The Bloodstorm Appreciation Thread

Appreciating Bloodstorm, coming to 616 universe soon.

Bloodstorm first appeared in year 1998 from the Mutant X ( all issues on this link: https://comicvine.gamespot.com/mutant-x/4050-6217/ ) ongoing series which lasted 32 issues. I havent' read the series so I hope somebody can pm what her role was on the said series.

Bloodstorm is an alternate version of 616 Storm from Earth-1298 universe who is a red-eyed vampire, inspired from the Uncanny X-men #159 (released in 1982) issue titled: "Night Screams!" which Storm was attacked by Dracula who attempted to make her his undead bride. But Storm was able to break the vampire will ( I don't know how ) that she returned back to human again.

And recently, we've seen Bloodstorm showing up in X-men Blue #12 cover which will be released this September 2017.

Also, why not Marvel give us another "Supernaturals" ongoing series again with Blade, Bloodstorm, Gargoyle, Ghost Rider, Morbius, Satan, Werewolf and Elsa Bloodstone. right?

Since Storm is the last of the big X-Men not to be killed and replaced by an alternate version, I've been thinking who they'd have take over. Think Bloodstorm would totally work for this crazed, perverse X-Men universe we have currently.

If 616 Storm will be replaced, I'd prefer an evil alternate Storm so she will be the X-men's enemy.

In all seriousness, I was only thinking about those at the very, very top. I would have said the "trinity", bc that would have worked too (a la Cyclops, Logan, Storm) but it would have skipped over Jean getting the treatment too.

The return of Bloodstorm actually makes me interested in reading X-Men Blue for the first time, I was a big fan of Mutant X
