It's not really Cyberpunk, as far as my understanding of Cyberpunk goes. And even if it is, it's on the most technical basis.

All I know is that every trailer I have seen of this has been the definition of cringe. Might still go and see it depending on when I have time to do so.

Looks like the youtube reviews are mixed. Looks like it's a "your going to like it or hate it" movie.

RT score is 78% and 80%.

I'm very mixed about the film.

You can check out my review (spoiler-free) here, if you're so inclined.

Calling it right now, anyone who is mixed about this film has terrible, TERRIBLE taste and is not to be trusted. It was phenomenal. And yes, I read the book, this was an improvement on the book.

Do you think you would have liked it better in 2D?

I never watch movies in 3D.

If I saw this movie in 3d, I probably would have gotten a headache. People need to stop paying for 3d, or IMAX 3d, you have to make them start showing IMAX movies in 2d.

That is one of the many reasons I don't use IMAX, most of the movies I want to see on a large screen with laser projection, are 3d with IMAX. In the US AMC has those dolby cinema locations with laser projection, and most importantly, they don't show 3d there.

Large format higher quality projection without the nasty 3d.

I saw from that guys link he lives in New Zealand, and they probably don't have any theaters there for AMC, but he should search to see if there is laser projection in that country without 3d. He should move towns if he is too far away, and if there are none in the country, he should either build one himself, or move countries.

Going today. Cross my fingers we will like it. A friend saw it and loved it but confirmed what I thought. Most of the cameo are just that cameos. They are background dressing like droopy in roger rabbit and burger time chef in wreck it ralph. Iron man is in it? Cool blink and you will miss him. Looking at hello kitty in the left of a group shot. You missed sonic on the right. That sounds fine with me. I get the feeling lots of people will be having fun egg hunting when the dvd comes out.

Let's let you guys know what I think of it after words but it sounds fun.

I am very much looking forward to this movie.
I enjoyed this movie a lot. Steven Spielberg is the only person that made it possible.
