From Dave Gilbert at the Talk TNA podcast
"Today I was informed that TNA live events are on an official hiatus,
and apart from the shows that are listed on their website, there will be
no further house shows for the foreseeable future. In terms of the UK
tour next year, I would expect that to still go ahead because they will
draw big enough crowds to cover the cost of doing it and the plan is to
still tape Impact at the Wembley show.
TNA are in a re-structuring stage in terms of their live events, and
as it stands at the moment the main focus is on the TV side of their
business. The company have pulled all future house shows because they
were under-performing and they went back to some markets too soon,
primarily because of sponsorship deals.
The hope is to return to house shows at a later date.
Those TNA colleagues who were part of the live events team have all
been let go, although if TNA does indeed restructure the way they
produce house shows, they could indeed be back.
Jimmy Jay who worked with the merchandising has also been released
along with other merchandise staffers and a member of the graphics team."

"TNA has received an offer from Discovery Network's VELOCITY channel. It's in 48 million homes and is in HD only.
The biggest issue is the rights fee, which is less than a quarter of what they are currently making at Spike. They'd have to find an additional revenue stream or the deal may not be viable. They are relieved that another suitor has materialized but are disappointed in the offer. They hope this opens the door to other prospective partners contacting them asap"
Also got to think UTA get's their 15% cut.

Kurt Angle:"Canada is lacking two things. The first is Olympic heroes, and no Ben Johnson does not count. The second is Memorial Day.We in the States celebrate our heroes by having barbecues.I realise here in Canada you can't have barbecues because you'd be attacked by a moose,a caribou or even a grizzly,it's true! Hold on a second - you'd probably be attacked by a grizzly as well.On second thought..the Grizzlies don't beat ANYBODY here in Vancouver, let alone anywhere else,it's true,it's true!"
Bully will go down as one of the elite heels in TNA history imo. Not to mention having a career renaissance at an age where most people are either gone or playing out the string.
Velvet may not be the best wrestler but she did some neat work for them over the years. The Beautiful People are one of TNA's top homegrown acts.
