Instead, they give us six Inhumans, only one of whom is working for Marvel.
It looks like Iron Fist is there, and for some reason it seems like that's Jessica by Elektra. Which is weird.

Honestly, as a fan, I'm just kinda glad my favorite character is included at all. After the failure of her movie it seemed like she was a pariah for a little while.

Oh I totally missed Iron Fist, but that's likely kind of the problem. You can't tell who's by Elektra, but it could be Jessica, yeah - but that's the point. You can't tell.

I think that Elektra's role in the Daredevil show saved her, but even then writers have liked to use her since then at least.

Marvel has a one track mind. Eventually only characters that have a hot movie out will be in promotion material.

This is much ado about nothing. Aside from the fact that it's much easier to see all of the characters on the new promo piece, they're also not using any repurposed art to make the new promo piece. Would it be great to include some more characters (particularly the X-Men), absolutely. That said, none of this studio and licensing hullabaloo has had much impact on what Marvel actually publishes. X-Men just got a linewide refresh. They still publish books like Moon Girl. They still take chances on characters like Mosaic even when the odds of success are limited.

Just read the comics and have fun.

It's important to note that these posters are licensed, they aren't put out by Marvel directly. and licensing is.... problematic with certain characters right now. Also, if you look at the images, the first 2 are clipart compilations. they just took a bunch of images from a bunch of artists and Photoshopped them together. It allows for a larger number of characters, but at the expense of artistic cohesion. the last one... well, it's still Photoshopped together, but at least this time it's all by the same artist, or at least an attempt was made to match the styles. More cohesive looking, but more work for the artist.

Thanks Ike, Alonso and marvel for saving me money.

If those series are good maybe it'll get Marvel to think differently, if not then Marvel will still remember that not a lot of people bought Fantastic 4 no matter how much the internet says differently

Damn, aside from Daredevil, Hulk, Thor and Punisher, I don't like any characters on the poster. Marvel truly did change. I guess money does this to you.

The incredible push of Inhumans is still beyond my comprehension with all the failures after failures. Just like Captain Marvel.

*sigh* The FF did sell and were above cancellation range, they sold more that some books that are still around now....
So please stop with the "FF never sold!" crap that some like to claim. We know why the FF are gone and it's extremely obvious.

Same. I used to read several titles but Marvel's attitude over the last few years has been a turn off. I only support the X-titles now.

They were selling about 10,000 more units a month than Captain Marvel. I like Carol but seriously it's obvious film and merchandising rights are dictating much of this.

My Google-fu is weak; anyone got a link to a bigger/better version of the new promo image?

    TIA
