Oh man, it occurs to me that like, nobody has ever tried like ...

An undersea "Atlantean" mutant, genius detective and gadget-making vigilante, from the Gorv Ocean on Krypton, from an underwater paradise-island of all women, who is the demigoddess daughter or whose mutant powers and whatever, come from a major Kryptonian god or goddess, who was struck by lightning and imbued with Speed, and who overcame great fear - fear of being persecuted by the very anti-meta Kryptonian bureaucracy - and was gifted a Green Lantern Ring.

A Kryptonian with ALL the powers of the Justice League.

I had a story in mind about it actually. Ancient Kryptonians sent by Jor El to set up a secret colony on Mars researching future planets to migrate to, cooperating with the Martians. A Kryptonian and a Martian have a baby who escapes as the White Martian genocide consumes them all. It lands in Themyscira, is kept a secret but lives and trains with the Amazons while Diana is a child. A confrontation with the League of Shadows ends up in his abduction, before Atlanteans recuperate him in a battle and adopt him in their school of mysticism. Never got around to planning past that because it already seems like overkill.

... and on his first day of fighting crime he gets killed by the Rainbow Raider.

That would be the greatest comic book ever written.

What if, however, a Kryptonian, Martian, or Earthly demigod were to also be imbued with the power of the Speed Force? Would they be "only" as fast as the human speedsters (e.g. Jay Garrick, Barry Allen, Wally West, etc.), or would the addition of the Speed Force to their already superhuman natural speed push them to a level beyond even the Flashes?

The answer is no, the speedster turtle fastback proves genetics aren't necessarily a factor in speed but rather ones connection to the speedforce.

You can only run so fast before you're pulled into the Speed Force, so it wouldn't make a lick of difference!
Not really, Ivery always thought that there an inherent am out of speedforce the user needs to have, so superman could fly at the speed of light and not get in, flash could be meditating and pop into it.

But I thought the speed force was supposed to be essentially scientific. If so it shouldn't play "favourites"...if you do the appropriate things...then the end result should be the same...it shouldn't matter if your name is Wally, Barry...or Clarke or Bruce.

And if Clarke can do specific things faster or more accurately than Barry or Wally...his speed force mastery should be greater.

I've always thought DC really always shies away from treating the speed force logically. If it is a scientific phenomena then some one like Lex ought to be able to create machines to channel, control it, etc. And specifically ought to be able to create devices to prevent Flashes accessing it.

The scientific position is also that advanced aliens really, really ought to be far better at manipulating the speed force than any Flash. Here is a source of source of near limitless energy...any self respecting scientist would study it remorselessly.

You have a false premise they aren't doing the same thing. Speedsters are taping into the speedforce which gives them their power superman is just a guy who can run.

Superman doesn't have access to the speedforce.

Yes that's totally true some people do mess with the speedforce and do, but not all due to the lack of speedforce empowered heroes. The hero vibe Caan actually knock the speedforce out of the flash.

Yeah, but the flash does really deal with aliens wh0 tap the speedforce.

Wouldn't it be fun if the speedforce "picked" the person they wanted channeling it's power?

Wasn't the Lazarus contract what you get if a non speedster gains access to the speedforce?

Btw characters who move that fast are overpowered imo, just like telepaths that can manipulate a entire planet at once are 2.atleast supermans powerset has limits(which is weird, cause that is the opposite of what some complain about him for).

Actually I wouldn't mind if every characters power levels were dropped in half across the board.they would.still be demigods on earth, but atleast it wouldn't get silly, like how the flash still has problems with the rogues,or maybe Superman actually having to hit a giant robot more than once to destroy it.
