Interesting contrast.

It's great that CBR has come around on this issue, but it made the most sense for the good of all for the old community to move on. We found a new place that works for us, and there are some very mixed messages on whether or not we belong here. Clearly, I'm still checking in and have not foresworn CBR or anything but, for both better and worse, this will be a different community than the one that was. Best to make our peace with that and move on to spark some great NEW conversation

I'm glad there is a classic/collected forum.

I browsed the other forums but they just seem to be "Appreciation" threads which are just arguments waiting to happen. I think I'll stick to here.

I was frequently on the previous boards and enjoyed them very much. As others have said, they were a model for how posters should ideally treat each other.

Looking forward to this. The previous board considered material 10 years old appropriate. Is that the same here ?
