Default What's Kurt Busiek doing these days?

I remember when he was doing a ton of books as well as being a regular poster on these boards.

    Seriously? You don't know?

He's writing Astro City published under DC's Vertigo reprint.

His output has definitely dropped off though. The bloke was everywhere for a while there....
His Avengers run with George Perez was top shelf.

He's also doing Autumnlands at Image, so putting out 2 books a month, and I remember him saying on a number of occasions that it takes him longer to do a book like Astor City than a mainstream super-hero book, so if Autumnlands is as intensive as Astro City, he may only want to be doing 2 books at a time. He has also said he is putting his time and focus on creator-owned projects for the foreseeable future, so I wouldn't expect to see much other than creator owned stuff from him any time soon.

He's also had some health problems on and off for years. I don't know if that has any effect on his output, but it's possible. The dude also tweets up a storm.
