What are your favorite stories (or arcs, if such a thing existed then) of DC's earliest years, 1935-1939?
OK I'll take a stab at this. There are over 30 Superman stories from 1938-39, and I don't really remember any of them, aside from the first. There are only 8 Batman stories from the 30s though. I'm a fan of "The Batman Meets Dr. Death" from Detective Comics #29 (and its follow-up in the next issue).
Cosmo, the Phantom of Disguise is my choice for best character!

Anyone ever read any of the early Zatara stories? Have they been reprinted ever anywhere?
