Default Birds of Prey Comic Pushed Back Five Weeks

The eagerly anticipated DC Black Label Birds of Prey one-shot special by Brian Azzarello and Emanuela Lupacchino has been delayed once again.

DC has resolicited the issue, which had been previously announced for publication at the end of January, to March 4. The five-week delay means the upcoming mature readers-title will now go on sale one month after the wide theatrical release of Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn). No cause for the delay has been announced at this time.

Azzarello and Lupacchino's comic was initially announced as an ongoing series set in the main DC Universe and was expected to launch in October 2019. Months later, the series was resolicited as a DC Black Label miniseries with more mature content, slated for release in February to coincide with the upcoming DC Extended Universe film.

Makes me wonder how well DC's editorial side manages to run…

Something seems amiss with this BoP comic (beyond thinking Azzarello was a good fit for a BoP comic).
