    Default Superwoman #13 preview/discussion

    https://graphicpolicy.com/2017/08/03...superwoman-13/

So this is likely the issue where we find out how Lana got her powers in the Post-Reborn timeline.

It also seems that red kryptonite can affect Lana.

This run doesn't seem to like the "beginning, middle, and end" story order.

Getting some answers will be cool, though.

Is the first time that I see this villain.. Another victim of Luthor in prison..

RED SUN... Now he will be the origin of Lana powers with that name and now is controlling her..

Surprisingly, I was liking most of the flashback stuff in this issue but it took a big hit when they ended it with with the teenage romance angle, and Clark coming to the rescue.

I tend not to be a fan of hero goes bad type stories, but this wasn't as bad as I was fearing.

Sogovia's art here looks better than in the last arc.

Lana's powers may have something to do with red kryptonite.

I was digging it until the end where I realized I had no idea what was going on at all.... like, at all.

I can't wait to find out why Red K was able to affect teenage Lana. Her behavior was very similar to Clark's Red K induced rebellion in Smallville.

So basically it's a combination of the Red K effects from SMALLVILLE and her Silver Age "shenanigans"

Also, it seems that Lex living in Smallville is still canon.

No matter how many reboots, new origins, reinterpretations or suit redesigns. In the end, he will always be SUPERMAN

Red Kryptonite.. And that Red Sun, his old boyfriend, as I imaginated before Luthor words.

Seeing LEX LUTHOR trying to snap someone out of acting like a bad guy is hilarious.
Maybe Lex is just being nice and stopping these amateurs from embarrassing themselves further. Lex never needed shiny rocks to be a jerk, after all.

Is Lana a meta? Lex said that the red k was just a catalyst to her change. Is she a meta or a "meteor freak"?
