With Superman having some connections to the Green Lanterns and Having guest star in the other one: Why doesn't anyone at DC allow Jon Kent to help out and Learn about the Green Lantern Corps ?
I mean honestly a Subplot or two having Jon learn about the protectors of the Universe outside of his own father would be interesting to see ?
As fans of Green Lantern and Jon Kent: What do you think of this ?

I'm not seeing the connection here. Like any other mythos there can be some guest stars or crossovers from time to time but I'm not really seeing the strong connection that should make Jon a particular interest to the GL titles.

Meh. Superhero Kids should hang out with other superhero kids, not adult space cops who never recruit underage sidekicks in the first place.
Jon has Damien. That's enough cross-franchising for him for now.
