Default Best villain after the Joker ?

I think most of us can agree that Joker is Batman's best villain.

I've seen multiple polls on the net, but these results were never concluding. Sometimes Two-Face, sometimes Ra's, Bane, Riddler or Catwoman. So, another poll might reinforce someone's claim to the throne.

I personaly think it's the Riddler or Bane. I voted Riddler because objectively, I think he's more consistent than Bane.

I'll put Catwoman even tho I think she's now more of an anti-hero, but I want to give the option to those who think otherwise.

There you have it! Who's the second biggest ?

Try being objective in your analysis !

Two-face, for me. Hell I even like him more then most versions of the joker. There's just something about the idea that Batman's first ally in Gotham has become one of his worst enemies that I really like.

I really like Two-Face, I just think that he doesn't have much stories behind him...

The Riddler, or maybe Penguin, but I think The Riddler its a battle of the minds.

I'm going with Riddler myself. I think it's because of how he see Batman as his ultimate opponent. I'll admit it's similar to Joker but not the same. Joker doesn't really want the game to end. He's having way too much fun. Riddler on the other hand wants to win and prove he's the smartest.

I actually like a lot of villains before Joker, but I'm one of a few hahaha. I voted for the man who broke the bat

Two-Face, obviously, if only because he is psychologically unable to be #1.

For me Joker is not even in the top 10 anyway.

Its between Two-Face, Ra's and Bane for me. Could never get on the Riddler bandwagon.

I voted Ras, but it's more for the League of Assassins as a whole, as opposed to just it's leader.

Dr Hugo Strange can be called a hyped type of mind games playing villain and also creating monsters depending on who writes him ,who always tries to study Batman's mind and influence it and him and ultimately become batman himself.Even joker iirc with his demented obsession over batman has never tried to become batman even though he loves him in a twisted fashion or at least one of him the new 52 one does.

Selina and Ivy have evolved beyond plain villains now. I guess it's a toss up (heh) between Harvey and Ra's.

I struggle to understand Ra's Al Ghul's popularity. I've read each of his considered "good" stories and I still don't get it. I have many friends who don't read comics and they know who Penguin, Two-Face, Mr Freeze, Bane, Joker, Scarecrow, Riddler and Catwoman are, but never Ra's.
