Little did I know that this world has transitioned crime- fighting to the private sector (the Republican dream!) and if you want to combat scum and villainy in Gotham City then you've got to join the franchise - and become part of Batman, Inc.! Cool. I'm on board with any company whose slogan is "criminals are a superstitious and cowardly lot." Plus, they offer a great 401k. So what if I gotta tape pointy ears to my mask to get it? I've done worse! Plus, when the defeated criminals inevitably ask "Who are you?", I get to answer in a 5-pack-a-day growly voice - "I'm Batshit!"
But it turns out Madame Masque's partner on this side of the dimensional divide is none other than the fiend who I presume sang for the Steve Miller Band - a smoker, a midnight toker, he gets his lovin' on the run - the Joker! This puts me in quite the romantic triangle (he and Harley used to date, fyi). He's probably gonna want to take her on another road trip or something but I ain't havin' it! For anyone who ever wanted to kill their girlfriend's ex who just can't seem to stay out of her life, this is the issue for you!
Oh yeah, and in the B story Carmen Sandiego has become the Juggernaut of Thieves after stealing Cain's family jewel. Can the 'bolts slow down the unstoppable larcenist?

Who is Harold Finch? Home to dreamers of all races, colors and creeds from every corner of the burroughs, the country, the world, and judging from what goes on at the Baxter Building, beyond that even. That doesn't mean they won't size you up or cut you down to size, because they will, it just means that it takes more than any of that to make it big here, it takes that something special. that drive, that want to, that talent to rise to the top of the top. For good or bad. They say you only get one shot, so take your shot on the biggest stage of them all and make it count. To me, this is that stage, the city to stand out in. I mean you have to stand somewhere for something, and there is no better place than here. I'm Mile Morales by the way, also spectacularly known as Spider-Man, well one of them anyways. But I am going to stand out soon because I have been blessed with some special gifts. I have to say it is still relatively new to me, things happen fast around here, but I am learning and I know that I am special or can be, I just have to prove it, starting now. You see, there is this girl that goes to the same school as I do, Brooklyn Visions Academy, her name is Melissa Yang, she is quiet and whip smart from what I can tell. I don't really know much about her but my roommate Ganke has a huge crush. She is missing, vanished from the dorm 3 days ago, but I am going to find the math whiz. Who would take a teenage girl and why?

It's hard to get answers on this side of town, even when it comes to missing girls. They don't trust the police around here, and from all the bad videos floating around on social media and the 24 hours news channels, I can not blame them. And if you're a black cop, that somehow makes it worse. Now add in bi-racial and you really get to feeling alone, on the streets, at the station, even at home. Sometimes it takes a different uniform all together to get me where I need to be, to get the answers I am looking for. Here is the deal, my Wakandan brothers and sisters have called on me, they need me to track down two students in a special exchange program, two Wakandan girls, science majors, attending university here that haven't made contact with home in over 48 hours. Their apartment is empty. Wakandans do not cut class. They do not disappear without a reason. I am Kasper Cole, the White Tiger. I will find them.

The Knudsen twins from Iowa. A pair of pretty little blondes lost in the bright lights of the big city. You have heard that story before, right, or does this one have a new twist? Ma and Pa are concerned, the girls' cell phones are turned off. They were to be special guests at an art exhibit, talented girls evidently since they won a nationwide contest to get here, but then no showed the gala in their honor and their smalltown chaperone is useless, too busy snapping selfies in Times Square to notice they were gone. The parents are on the next flight in. They'll just be in the way, we need to find these artsy girls before that happens. I am Misty Knight, the stylish one making calls over there is Dakota North and our other partner is out roughing up an informant named Turk for "clues," you may know her as Jessica Jones or Jewel in a past life. We are the Marvelous Ladies Detective Agency and we're on the case!

5 girls in 24 hours. Missed the other one though, the boss won't be happy. I have done some nasty jobs in my life, I hooked entire neighborhoods on smack, my own people, I sold guns to kids, I have pimped, I have busted heads, killed, I even dabbled in trafficking before, but this is something different entirely. All those things I did, never got me far in the end. I never rose to the penthouse, never ascended beyond the street. I gotta say, the man's got vision. Maybe he'll change things, but here I am doing the dirty work. It's me the costumes will come looking for inevitably, while he sits up there on his hidden throne reaping the rewards. No matter. This will lead the FF to split into two teams: Reed, Hippolyta, and long time family friend Wyatt Wingfoot will travel to Sunlight's universe to find out what really happened to his Earth! Elsewhere, Sue, Sunlight, Ben and Spock will head to Latveria to find out why Sunlight thinks that Reed is really Doom and why he blames him for all those deaths. But even though Doom has been gone for years, getting into Latveria won't be any easier with his son in charge, Kristoff von Doom!
Continued from Pure Venom #2. Meanwhile in midtown Manhattan, Johnny Storm with the help of the Impossible Man is tasked with squashing a conflict between the city's newly returned Venom protector and a team of skrulls deadset on obtaining the symbiote from its current host, with the goal of using it as a Kree defense weapon (check out Pure Venom #2). Johnny uses a little fire and the spark of keen negotiation skills he picked up from family as well as his own past dealings with skrull society and other galactic conflict resolutions, along with a little trickeration from Impy, to convince the skrulls the symbiote will do them more harm than good. With the city safe for now and the skrulls sent home, back at the Baxter Building, Johnny engages Eddie Brock on the responsibilities of power, letting him know that the Fantastic Four will be keeping an eye on him, but that if his heart is in it, he could truly be a hero the city needs, and a friend. What Johnny did not realize was the symbiote sneaking around undetected while he gave Brock the speech and tour. Inside Reed's lab the inky alien comes across the most interesting device, one intended to nullify a skrull's malleable powers. How could that ever be useful......?

Captain Blackadder had barely stepped onto the beach revealing the full glory of 1940's mens beachwear when he discovered this was in fact a secret Nazi testing facility for advanced mutagenic experimentation! There was pluses and minuses that day. Squirrel Girl in a bikini (Blackadder managed to invent it a few years ahead of official records but kept it secret for a number of official reasons) the beach coming to life and trying to eat them was interesting but fell into the minus column. It seems there are living islands out there and the Nazi's are trying to create their own. The Captain and Tom Thumb grab the sun lotion and hit the beach...quite literally as hard as they can!

The mutants themselves are starting to listen too, so when Castro preaches about the end of the world within the next few months, people are going to listen. And it's not just the Brotherhood that come knocking at Castro's door, with his former ally Magneto leading the charge, but it's also people from around the world, hunters, slayers and vampires alike, all lured to the Free City to see what Castro truly knows about the Day the World Went Away. It all depends on who can find an ancient artefact from the Hyborian Age first, rumoured to be The Pandora's Box, and in a city like New Orleans, you never know really who you can trust. Can the Brotherhood fight off against the worst mankind has to offer to protect their newfound home, or will they come to ever regret living in New Orleans in the first place?

But as Moria helps Charles nurse his wounds, the Berlin Wall is constructed in Germany, with two young lovers, both new mutants, the German Adalgiso Muller (who can absorb the history of objects by touch) and the French Renée Laurent (who can direct people's vision away from herself) are forced to mount a daring escape before they are cut off from the West altogether. It's a race against time, made all the more daring by the fact that they have to bring with them Renée's grandmother, who is in town visiting her closest relative. And then, on top of this, they also have to escape the unwanted attention of the Hellfire Club, and East Germany's newly formed AM (Anti-Mutant) division, which is cracking down on those suspected to have powers. But the AM are yet to officially prove the existence of mutants, and if Adalgiso and Renée are caught, they risk exposing mutantkind to the public at large, putting them in severe danger.
