I have never been too crazy about instrumental music, but I love me some Duke Ellington, Dinah Washington, Nancy Wilson, Billy Eckstine etc.

I only listen to Jazz if it's fused with another genre or it's Miles Davis and Nina Simone.

I listen to it from time to time but not as much as I should. When I was kid, my dad used to work for a company that dealt with vending machines, and that included juke boxes. His boss let him have an older model to keep and we had it in the basement. He used to bring home some 45s to put in it and I know it started it with a few by Ramsey Lewis and his trio. I liked the In Crowd, Wade in the Water, and Hang on Sloopy. I don't know if you could classify Anika Baker as jazz but I have her CD.

Ramsey Lewis has a weekly Jazz program on Chicago's WDCB radio which uses a lot of volunteers for its program hosts.

I've never gone too deep into what Jazz or Blues really means but i love me some big bands since the 2000s when popular music started putting me off. I find myself listening to this group of ppl more than the others

    Nat King Cole
    Billie Holiday
    Frank Sinatra
Ella ELLA Fitzgerald (Love me some Ella)
    Louis Amstrong
    NINA Simone (my heart)
    Bing Crosby

Check out Jonathan Schwartz, he does a weekly radio show of American Standards. He's online and on Sirius.

I listen to a lot of jazz and go to live shows. Like most people, I listen to many types of music but Jazz and Punk are my two favorites.

I listen to a lot of roots music of all types, jazz included (also Blues, folk, funk, roots rock, etc.). I have a jazz playlist for when I am writing, and will at times throw on one of the jazz stations on Amazon music instead of my playlist. Thelonius Monk, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Stanley Clarke, Dave Brubeck, Louis Armstrong, Ella, etc. are the primary inhabitants of my playlist but I like to branch out too when I am in a jazz mood.
