These days, I've been listening to several of the cd collections released in conjunction with the Ken Burns JAZZ series:
There's a lot of good stuff on them.
Now I've moved on to listening to
Bix Beiderbecke, Vol. 1: Singin' the Blues

with songs originally recorded back in 1927
(About half of them recorded just before my Dad's 1st birthday.).
While I don't really listen to jazz, my two co-workers love it.
One of them is a blues and jazz fan while the other pretty much loves jazz over any other form of music.
