    Recently been listening to
    Compact Jazz: George Benson

I was looking to see if the old George Benson album Weekend in LA was still available on CD, but it doesn't look like it's been reissued recently. (I still own it on vinyl from when it came out back in the 1970s.)

Another year without the New Orleans Jazz Fest, but local jazz station WWOZ brings past concerts to the world (sans food, humidity, and mud).

I love jazz, my favorite albums are: Smokin' at the half note" - Wes Montgomery, "Perfect" - Thelonius Monk, "Romantic Warrior" - Return to Forever, "Time Out" - Dave Brubeck, "Virgo Dance" - Pat LaBarbera

And anything by Joe Pass. I even make greeting cards with his words https://printsbery.com/cards/birthday/family/brother

There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

    Scarcely…

“Strength is the lot of but a few privileged men; but austere perseverance, harsh and continuous, may be employed by the smallest of us and rarely fails of its purpose, for its silent power grows irresistibly greater with time.” Goethe
