Yeah I listen to it. Mostly when reading or when working. I find it more up tempo than classical (so it keeps me alert) but not too up tempo to distract me. I tune into the local Jazz station here in Toronto. I honestly can't tell one artist from the other when listening to it. I have found that I like Coltrane though. I also like to listen to a lot of 'lounge house' which is sort of an off shoot of jazz.

Dinah died of a mix of alcohol and diet pills not long after this was published. Can't listen to this, or even look at that album cover of her holding her brandy with that decidedly un-glam hair without tearing up a little.

I'm listening to our local 24-hour jazz radio station right now, as I do most workdays. http://www.opb.org/kmhd/

I've been a jazz fan since the 1970s.

One of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written (Carlos Santana) done by a master on the sax.

There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Here's former CBR alumnus Lyman Medeiros (aka Punchy) on bass with Gabriel Hardman, doing something very Miles-y.

I certainly do listen to jazz, though I admit my tastes tend to run more towards electro-swing.
