Thanks for posting this unfortunately I missed their Binghamton University show about 2 years ago. Are they still around? A much larger group than I imagined. Take Flim and the BB's and in walks the Brecker Brothers. Cool stuff.

Check out Artie Shaw as well I only had a chance to find something by him recently. Awesome.

Goodman, Shaw, Glenn Miller, Harry James, and many others put out some great music back in the 1930s/40s.

A CD that I like that has a good mix of music from back then is

It's usually available still new from places like amazon.com and barnesandnoble.com at a decent (less that $10.00) price.
