There is going to be a development with the Kingpin in Daredevil that may have an impact on the Spider-Man books as well.

Any book set in New York could be affected by this. Especially Defenders, since Daredevil is part of that team. But yeah, it would include both Peter and Miles's books too. I am wondering if this will affect Slott, Zdarsky, and Bendis's plans at all.

Kingpin as mayor of New York. So much bad he could do from that position. J. Jonah Jameson was at least a good mayor when he wasn't on an anti-Spider-Man tear.

No more than Secret Empire was, I'd think. Mayor's comparatively small-scale, but since almost all the major superheroes live in New York City . . .

That could actually work, and would also justify Peter Parker being persona non grata with the NYPD in Spectacular, if Kingpin was hoping to drive a wedge between Spider-Man and his "tech guy." Originally Posted by Frontier

It seems unlikely that it would happen. He has too much history too much of his past has been made public... but then again, a LOT more likely than Norman Osborne being given SHIELD, and THAT happened. This at least feels like something that was on Fisk's bucket list.
