I’m hoping we get to see her in rebirth soon. She’s one of my favorite DC characters.
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
--Lord Alfred Tennyson--
That was a great episode! They had a good adaptation in smallville too.

"Will" and "should" are two different things.
Remember, she's already been around (without the JSA) under the New 52 (in 2013's Justice League of America and Justice League United).
Any future connection to the JSA will all depend on if/where/when a team is (eventually?) brought back and how much of the past history is restored.
FYI, looking through the GCD, Stargirl's last few story appearances (not including non-main continuity series like DC Comics Bombshells) appear to have been in* Action Comics #48 (March 2016) during the "Savage Dawn" story arcboth times she was with the Justice League United; other appearances since the run of JLU ended may not have been specified by characters involved.
* Death of Hawkman #2 (January 2017) in a flashback

After reading Stars ans S.T.R.I.P.E iwas wandering was it ever revealed what was going on with Mike (her step brother)?
It was pretty clear that he wanted to have the cosmic belt for a specific reason, to do something but in that series it was never revealed for what. Was that storyline continued somewhere else?
