Top 10 DC Heroes

What are some peoples top 10 DC heroes? This topic always fascinates me. I like looking at the peoples lists and figuring out what they really like from it. My list focuses heavily on the Legacy side of DC. Lost of JSA characters and almost entirely former sidekicks who have really come into their own as characters or just people who have taken up the mantle of a past hero and really solidified themselves into DC history in some way or another.

Awesome. A few of those characters were really close to making my list. Once I got past my #3 it was really hard deciding who was on and who was off.

Man I miss Max Mercury! What a fantastic character.
I miss Bart as well, but only as Impulse. I thought he was very hastily thrown into the role of the Flash and then instead of developing him they just kill him off. So dumb. I doubt we will see either of these two characters again though sadly.

Indeed! Like with Bart, both Waid and Degazo did amazing work with him. (Mercury Falling actually comes VERY close to Return of Barry Allen for me)

Agreed. As I always say, Bart, along with Cassie and to a lesser degree Kon, were never the same after Johns got his hands on them. (Much like dozens of other characters )

I'm trying to remain hopeful, but it gets less likely by the day. Joshua Williamson is an outspoken fan of both Bart and Max (Along with Kon), having even stated he has plans for Max, but there's still no word about that, and recently, he made a comment insinuating that we're not gonna be seeing Bart and Kon specifically in the foreseeable future.

I'm sure a lot of other people wouldn't but I've been reading all of them and was planning on responding to a few. Like I said I like figuring out what types of things people like about DC through the lists. For me its the Legacy which is why all but three characters on my list are legacy characters and the ones that aren't legacy, only one isn't super tied to the idea of Legacy in some major way.

At the very least I think Bart, Kon, and Cassie have to return. They are quite popular and Geoff Johns I believe likes the characters a lot as well and since Johns is the head guy in all of Rebirth, I feel like they are likely to come back. Maybe after Doomsday Clock when the Legion and JSA are also hinted to come back. Max is a little less likely because he is not nearly as popular but I also hope we see him again eventually.
