I'm wondering if Bendis will have Ben and Doom team up for the conclusion of Infamous Iron Man. That would be an odd couple that would work in an FF title.
It's a puzzle how Ben and Vic got along back in college. It was probably awkward between ben and Reed as well as between Reed and Vic, but there was probably something there not all Reed. And yes, Ben messing with Doom's calculations was a stupid development which hopefull got erased when the multiverse came back. At the very least, let's never mention it again.

I'd like to see some of the college experiences between the two. Plus, Reed fixed Vic's face, but not Ben? What up with that? Infamous is the FF book right now, like it or not.

There used to be that psychological hang up that Ben had where he wanted to stay as the Thing because he feared he would lose Alicia's love. But that's not a factor. Then the Future Foundation kids came up with that partial cure but there's no control over which day he would become human. Doom was able to reverse Sharon back to human form. So it should be doable. I don't know why they just don't give him the power to become the Thing at will.

I find it peculiar that the only members of the Fantastic Four we're allowed to see now is Ben and Johnny. Why have Reed, Sue and the children been "banned" (for lack of a better term) from appearing in any story? I have found Bendis's FF interludes surprisingly entertaining in Infamous. But I am waiting to hear more about the upcoming Marvel Two In One.

This preview is interesting from Newsarama. It shows the artists working on Marvel Legancy #1 and the panel showing Ben and Johnny is done by Jim Cheung. I wonder if this means he will be working on the title?

Well, I have been urging Marvel for decades to allow Ben to become human at will. Sadly, this idea and my plan for Reed and Sue to divorce are two recommendations that the FF Bullpen have refused to act upon. However, there is always hope....

he had his assets frozen but that is not seizure of assets. He should have gotten them back at some point but I guess you don't need cash in space.

I've always wanted to see Sue separate from Reed--divorce, even--and end up with Namor, just for a long storyarc (which resolves itself with them reuniting eventually). I just think it could be a good story, if done right.

If Sue were to ever leave Reed I'd want her to stay single and tell Namor to go kick rocks. I wouldn't want the first thing she does to be jumping into another relationship, she should be finding herself and who she is as person as an individual.

I wouldn't change a damn thing. Build off what Jack and Stan did, duh.

And Young Animal the crap out of it. It should be cool, funny, wonderful, chaotic. HIckman's run, Fractions FF (just amazing)

And for the LOve of Xenu, no Bend-is, Infamous Iron Man is the worst thing he has ever written for Marvel. Makes his MOon Knight an Eisner winning book (which I liked a little bit by the way, don't want to seem biased.)

I feel that's the main problem with a lot of the runs after, they were too restrained by the original run. The FF need change and while Stan and Jack's run was what made Marvel what it is, it's also a product of it's time. Things need to change and grow, if they don't we'd still have:

Reed dominating every story (which is still the case unfortunately)
Sue being the useless damsel in distress
Johnny being as deep as a puddle
Ben moaning about being the Thing for the millionth time

Hmm, in that picture, Ben's shooting off the Fantastic Four signal, and Johnny's right there next to him, so, who exactly is he summoning? Dare I hope?

And that Greg Land picture. Huh. I'm not placing what pornographic magazine he traced those satellite dishes from.

The amount of times Johnny was covered in asbestos during the early years, he should have had lung cancer years ago.

In previous runs, they were problems with their marriage, but like with most things, you know they'll end up back together. In Thing's solo series, he was able to change back and forth at will.

I think one of the things that should be done is a permanent status quo. Now what if Sue and Reed were to get a divorce? Who would get what? Would one of them leave the team? Who would get custody of Franklin and Valeria? That could be an interesting story if done properly, however, most fans know that Reed and Sue will be back together again.

I say if Reed was to leave the team, I would replace him with Blue Marvel although technically with his powers, he doesn't need Sue, Johnny and Ben but it would cool to see him on the team.

As I said previously, Fantastic Four need new adventures, adversaries and scientific phenomena, discoveries and explorations. A cool idea I would like to see is Reed going through Henry Pym's notes and unlocking the God Particle. Maybe have the team uncover a Skrull organ trafficking ring. You can pick up the threads left from Vol 3 of Heroes For Fire.

Have Ben be conflicted about it as one of the Skrull organs can be used to revert him back and forth from normal to rock form.
