They need to take the Future Foundation idea and run with it as far as they can go. Keep the original four, but also keep around them the fixtures of their world (esp the kids) while simultaneously exploring the new Marvel Universe.
I liked how, often in Hickman's run, each issue had a focus on four characters - even if they weren't the actual Fantastic Four - and I'd love to see that established as a bit of a guideline.
Y'know what I'd like to see? Al Ewing and Dan Slott cowriting a twice-monthly series. Call it whatever: Fantastic Four, Future Foundation, Fantastic Family, Fantastic Future, Fantastic Fifty-Four - just keep it pushing into new territories while never forgetting the past.
-Pav, who likes idea of Fantastic Defenders personally...
You were Spider-Man then. You and Peter had agreed on it. But he came back right when you started feeling comfortable.
You know what it means when he comes back.
"You're not the better one, Peter. You're just older."
