that just makes what Daken did even crueler, imo. the pheromones created an emotional connection. that's just an artificial form of what happens when regular people fall for someone. you seem to be thinking of it as if it were the Ringmaster's hat. it might not wear off as quickly.

No. I just don't like it when a character who has been around for decades and has shown no interest in the same sex before to suddenly be shown to really be gay/bi. I am all for any new character being created gay or bi, but swithcing someone up to fill a role just for the publicity of it never sits right with me.

Agreed. With this fully. Icemen was such a slap in the face to me. Would be against it if it was Storm. But at least she has had some hintable moments.
