Is understandable that people feel nostalgic about that particular era since it offered some of the most complex themes that the character has explored (although a lot of them got repetitive towards the end) and it was certainly much more interesting than the other era that most writers try to replicate, the radical liberal one (and Lord knows that Percy is not touching any new, or particularly deep, ground with it).
Seattle offers potential for more realistic stories I guess, but I've always been pretty fond of Star City and the way how it could be connected to some of Green Arrow's themes (although again, I would have prefered not to return to it if they were going to use such a cartoony justification for its existence like in the current book).
It's a clumsy transition. But I do like seeing Ollie's team ups with the Flash, Wonder Woman. I suspect Bats is in the wings.
