Its listed as a paperback, but that's more than likely wrong, as its the same price point as the deluxes and starts where v1 ended.

Thanks. I looked on Amazon and they didn't have it listed. That helps

I'm actually surprised Thor and Hill outsold the Ennis Punisher, and that Back To War was so close .

Not that those numbers are anything to scoff at, 1500+ is pretty good movement, especially compared to omnibus sales of late

These are solid numbers. Especially considering all 4 came out in September. One would think, or I held it as possible, that they could hurt each other by forcing too many to pick & choose. Some still did(I almost did) but it appears more did not to have these numbers. Planet Hulk right at 1700 units and Thor vol.3 with very healthy numbers shows that the fan base for Omnis is not scared away by higher numbers. Both Punisher Omnis essentially being a wash should show how hungry that fandom is for more Omni collections.
I'd think Marvel would be very pleased with these numbers.

One has to remember that the Ennis Punisher Omni is a 2nd printing, so 1500+ is pretty impressive AND it sold more than the 1st printing in its first month.

Yes, I'm pretty surprised at how "healthy" these figures are.

    .
Didn't know this part! I just felt that it would break the sales charts since IST was basically unusable for like 45 minutes the day it came out.

Still impressive though, I'm interested to see how the WWH omnibus stacks up to the Planet Hulk one when the numbers come out next month

The Ennis Punisher Omni 1st Printing moved 1,451 copies back in November 2008 as compared to the 2nd Printing with 1,561. I believe that's the first time a 2nd Printing has outsold the 1st Printing in its premiere month.

I think this might be proof that there's definitely a market for Ennis Punisher. So . . . maybe Marvel will collect his Max run in an omnibus (or two).

That is awesome. I hope Ennis hears of this news. Such a great writer.
Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

    Yep, and
    Wolverine Goes To Hell Omnibus
is a Jason Aaron omnibus Volume 2, no?

Still.. was disapointed with no Black Panther and New Mutants Omni announcements with the movies coming 2018.
