Does MCU Steve Rogers, and by extension Bucky Barnes, age at the same rate as normal humans?
I was thinking about the Rick Remender Cap run where it was made plain that Steve does not age like a normal human.
MCU Steve went through an enhance program far superior than the comic book version. Since Bucky was similarly enhanced, I wondered if his aging slowed.

I'm kind of surprised there still moving forward with the movie to be honest.
The smartest thing would most likely be to kill off Drax in Avengers 4, keep Gamora dead, and move on with the SL/Rocket/Groot + new members and do a completely different movie than whatever Gunn planned.
And instead of calling it GoG3, call it Guardians of the Galaxy: Subtitle.
Keeps the recognizable name, keeps the recognizable stars, and moves on without Gunn's stuff hanging over it.

I know I'd be scared of taking over! But at the same time, the risk might be high but so is the payoff. If you make it work, you saved a favorite MCU property and pulled a successful movie out of the ashes of controversy, and you're now tight with the Marvel folks, who can make dreams come true. But if you blow it? And especially if that is the first failure in the MCU? You might as well leave Hollywood and become a lumberjack, because no one will hire you again.
I disagree with your notion of dumping Gunn's plans though. There's no need for that, especially when you have a solid first draft already worked out that's designed to carry the remaining subplots through to whatever their natural conclusion was meant to be. Hire somebody to polish that script, maybe throw a small writer's credit at Gunn if you gotta, and bury it deep in the credits, and just move on.
By the time this movie hits, it'll be years from now. For all we know, by 2021 or 2022 or whenever, society might be done with their overreactions and faux outrage and no one will care about the Gunn controversy anyway (I doubt they'll remember it by then regardless). Disney can put the new director on heavy rotation through the talk show circuits to help separate the movie from its former director, and Disney can just hype the crap out of the film and handwave the Gunn situation with a simple "We've all moved on, we're all better for it, now check out this amazing new trailer!!"
