No, Mogo reconstituted himself but John was put in charge of investigating and facilitating it by the Guardians when they noticed the pieces flying through space.

I heard sometime in 2020, there's going to be some big update changes going on at DC. Hopefully we'll get to see an upcoming John Stewart book by then.

There was speculations about the possibility of a John Stewart and the Green Lantern Corps being among the spin-offs listed in an article, thanks to all of this speculation and teases about John Diggle becoming John Stewart. Although I don't see it happening, but it's nice to see John keep making it in the headlines.

I think it's about time (well past time, actually) Dan DiDio goes, too, and I'm not saying that just because of some recent development with some characters. I just think we've seen what he is capable of with the DC universe and the comics business in general, and I'd like to see something new.

Wow, I didn't know this happened. This is totally uncalled for!!!!! These guys ought to be ashamed of themselves. They have a very selfish attitude.

Although this is my own speculation, sometimes I wonder whether Dan Didio was also behind the scenes endorsing the idea of John Stewart getting the axe? Maybe it was originally planned for John Stewart to get out the way of Hal Jordan. Just like like Wally was planned to get out of the way of Barry Allen. The reason why it didn't happened with John was probably because the failure of the 2011 film and the outrage about killing John Stewart. Do these guys dislike the Justice League cartoons that much!?

Been thinkin about how awesome it would be to have a John Stewart book done by Alex Ross, like how he did Batman War on Crime, etc. A really deep dive into the character, what makes him tick, what he stands for, and what he means to the people of Earth as well as in space.
