Hickman’s dialogue tends to be very cold. I’ve read his indie work like East of West and it’s very similar to his X-Men work. It’s simply how he writes characters. Everyone is a big philosopher who can’t wait to share their insights into the meaning of life lol. Originally Posted by JTFSXX

I don't want to drudge up old debates but I like Scott's power putting off some heat.. especially when using different levels of intensity. He's kind of using it like a laser in the pic. It's frustrating to say the least. JDW continues to double down on Scott as Magneto 2 or Mutant Hitler or Osama Bin Summers or whatever else they think sounds edgy, but anytime anyone mentions it, they try to be like "It was in the past, we're not talking about it".
