Not the X-office, Hickman. If he wasn't around, they would be doubling down like in Rosenberg's run.

Not really. That stuff still happened but isnt really relevant to any of the stories they are currently telling in terms of Scott

Maybe it is just Hickman's writing. Maybe Scott really has substantially changed post resurrection. What say you?
Hickman’s dialogue tends to be very cold. I’ve read his indie work like East of West and it’s very similar to his X-Men work. It’s simply how he writes characters. Everyone is a big philosopher who can’t wait to share their insights into the meaning of life lol.

I don't want to drudge up old debates but I like Scott's power putting off some heat.. especially when using different levels of intensity. He's kind of using it like a laser in the pic. I know it is concussive force, but there is more that could be done. I loved the look of Xorneto's burnt face when Scott blasted him in close range in Planet X.

Not really what, exactly? Jono and Alex were bitching about events as they didn't happen. Therefore, yeah, the x-office totally had no issue throwing obscure/inaccurate references to the EXM/DoX/IvX era.

Spineless cowards (oh noes, those mean Twitter trolls might photoshop Hitler 'staches on our pretty faces or something!) sitting on the Krakoan council is relevant as all efffs, lol. Also, I'm acutely aware there's no actual retcon. They just don't talk about it because it makes aforementioned spineless cowards look bad.

X-Office: Remember that time we hamfisted Cyke's villification? Neither do we. -nervously sweating intensifies-

Much as I am not a fan of Jedi hand-waving the issue a la Hickman--- especially since JDW is essentially saying the events DID still happen--- the alternative is Rosenbubbles' run and its... er, inaccuracies. House of X is figuratively and in-story a house of cards, though, so let's see where this goes.
    Let your wallet talk.
    Never forget, Cyke fans~ https://twitter.com/i/status/1246248602768486402
Jean had more presence in death than Cyke in Hickman's entire run.
Hickman succeeded where 2010s Marvel didn't: make the X-Men villainous and irrelevant.
Hilariously, the X-Men have now fully embraced mutant supremacy and racism against humans.

It's frustrating to say the least. JDW continues to double down on Scott as Magneto 2 or Mutant Hitler or Osama Bin Summers or whatever else they think sounds edgy, but anytime anyone mentions it, they try to be like "It was in the past, we're not talking about it".

Bull Crap. You threw him and Emma under the bus for years, and just expect fans to move on like you didn't. It's cowardly as ****.
