    Default 2010s and The Batman

Welcome to the dawn of a new decade! What would you say have been the most significant additions and developments for the Bat/Gotham mythos in the last decade? characters, story arcs, tech, moments, anything that was pivotal to the Batman corner of the landscape.
THE SIGNAL (Duke Thomas) is DC's secret shonen protagonist so I made him a fandom wiki

also, check out "The Signal Tape" a Duke Thomas fan project.

    currently following:
    • DC: Red Hood: The Hill
    • Marvel: TBD
    • Manga (Shonen/Seinen): One Piece, My Hero, Dandadan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kaiju No. 8, Reincarnation of The Veteran Soldier, Oblivion Rouge, ORDEAL, The Breaker: Eternal Force

    - Court of Owls

    - Absolute emphasis on The BatCat relationship.

    - Agent 37/Spyral.

    - The return of Barbara Gordon as Batgirl.

    - Jim Gordon becoming Batman.

    - Duke Thomas becoming the technical 5th Robin (6th if you count Steph) before becoming his own hero.

    - Jason Todd becoming a more established presence as Red Hood.

    - The 'Tec team - The Gotham Knights. Clayface as a potential heroic character.

    - Harley Quinn as a solo character and embracing the "Harley Quinn" brand.

Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft

Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”

    You missed:
    1. The Death and Return of Damyan Wayne. It affected a lot Batman. But it also made Damyan more mature.
    2. New origins of Batman - Zero Year.
    3. New origins or more details of each vilains' past:
    - with Vilain Month with:
--- in Batman: bJoker, Riddler, Penguin, Bane,
--- in Batman & Robin: Two-Face, Court of Owls, Ra's Al Ghul and the League of Assassins,
--- in Batman, the dark knight: Ventriloquist, Mr. Freeze, Clayface, Joker's Daughter
--- in Detective Comics: Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Scarecrow, Man-bat
    --- in Earth-2: Solomon Grundy
    - with Batman, the dark knight:
--- Scarecrow in "Cycle of Violence" #10-15
--- Mad Hatter in "Mad" #16-20
    --- Clayface in "Clay" #23-25
    --- Penguin in "Voiceless" #26-27
    --- Man-Bat in #28-29
    4. You also missed a few of the "Rebirth" changements:
    - The creation of a new "batfamily" team that revealed the complexe minds of Batwoman, Cassandra Kane, Clayface, Stephanie Brown and Duke Thomas. - All this making big changements for each of them (not only Clayface as you sayd).
    - A new Poison Ivy in Cycle of Life and Death.
    - A potential mariage between Batman / Catwoman. It failed, but forge a new step in their rellationship.
    - The Discovery by Batman of a Dark Multivers with evil versions of every heroes - including a "Dark Batman": "Batman who laughs".
    - The Return of Bane as a major vilain.

There could be a few additions, but this does suffice to be honest.

What (if any) storyline do you think has had the biggest impact in changing Batman the most this decade? What was the most significant change?

Lots of great stories in non-comics media.

    Arkham City
    Arkham Knight

    The Dark Knight Rises
    The LEGO Batman Movie
Batman v Superman featured the best on-screen Batman fight in the warehouse

Lots of great DTV animated films. Under the Red Hood, The Dark Knight Returns

After the back to back flops of DKSRB and ASBAR, the Millerverse rebounded with DKIII and Last Crusade and The Golden Child

Under the Red Hood wasn't in the 2010s (I think it was 09).

    Couple my picks:
Zero Year was great, especially the first half.
Kite Man got a hell yeah origin story.
White Knight was the most successful elseworld in a long time.
Batman and the Ninja Turtles movie!

    Stories that changed Batman hmmm?

Batman hasn't really changed that much in the 2010's It's been business as usual up till Alfred's death or Damian's Death and Bruce's battle to bring him back
