Legion of Super-Heroes issue #11 preview/Spoiler discussion

This issue was absolutely nuts!

It simultaneously feels like the boiling point of everything since issue 1 and also the start of something totally new. If I had to guess, I'd say that we're likely going to see a new #1 from Bendis after Future State and issue 12. He's already confirmed that Future State Legion is the status quo moving forward, and this seems to be how we get there. Once all this is collected, I feel like they're pretty much obligated to call these 12 issues "Superboy & The Legion of Super-Heroes".

Still not a fan of Mon-El being Kryptonian.

Same here. This will never be my Legion, but I'm still getting it. It's not horrible and Sook's artwork helps (though he's better focusing on a few characters than he is with group scenes), but it's just another comic book.

Oh please no Jon/Saturn girl situation where he gets her pregnant and then becomes a child, because that would be really really creepy if that's true. Since Mon El is implying that Saturn girl is looking for a partner. Ugh.

So Chris Kent is dead, wonderful, truly a great use of the character. Can't wait till Jon gets out of the Legion and back to his time. It's just really weird how this was all set up.

I think it's the new Future State book. I'm torn because I like this Legion and while I don't want to lose Jon on there, I was hoping that would free up more time for the others but now it's getting upended so we'll see if it's still enjoyable afterward.

Yeah, he told Jon that he was a descendent of the El family in a previous issue.

My staying on the book is contingent on them doing so. I can't do another dark future and if I wanted that with the Legion, 5YL is there.

Who knows. The kids might all have different mothers, or come out of a clone-vat, for all we know.
