Eh, it’s probably gonna be like the KIB tie-in. Solid and fun but nothing consequential to the main BP book. I think most readers are aware by now that Wakanda has a foothold in space and that’s really all the context you need for this story.

I do hate that we’re still running with this horrible version of M’Baku though, but at least it seems they’re trying to give him something to do. Because given the track record of supporting characters not named Storm, Shuri, or a Dora, I was kinda scared he’d sit on the shelf, but with the MCU stimulus packs I guess it was inevitable he got some shine.

Speaking of Storm she’s on the cover of the second issue for Ridley’s run so the evidence is mounting she’s the love interest, but IDK, Shuri’s look doesn’t match how she does in her current appearances and they’re really trying not to show stuff related to the actual story so it could just be another cover that means nothing.

If it's NuM'Baku not so much. He didn't have much character and he after they made it to Wakanda prime he didn't appear again until the final issue.

After his KiB tie-in would have preferred Redjack getting another chance at writing another one shot but Narcisse isn't a choice either.

Tchalla is a literal badass in Aaron's Avengers, NO JOKE.... THIS IS THE PRIEST/HUDLIN TCHALLA.

Aaron's Tchalla just keeps piling on feats. It's almost an annoyance that Aaron's BP is barely mentioned or even discussed in here. Yet the moment they remove BP from Avengers, y'all will loose your minds.

It's probably not that complicated. Admittedly, I'm surprised at how it ended. At least when Hickman did a big event he gave it a proper ending.

Mephisto shenanigans through Coulson and the Squadron Supreme to create a new reality. Looks like it was a test for a grander plan.

Somehow, Blade was immune to the spell? And was able to see through it and reunite everyone.

Vibranium seemed to act as some sort of Kryptonite to Hyperion and others........ I don't understand why. I doubt will get an explanation, I didn't read all the tie-ins so maybe they give this event more depth

Makes sense. I’m still wondering who these spies are and where they’re stationed as sleeper agents. Sounds like T’Challa’s been busy and keeping an eye on something dangerous.

I like how proactive he feels in these solicits lol. Secrets, sleeper agents, and plans all feel like we’re getting a modern Priest run. That’s the main thing that will make me happy with Ridley’s run. I want a T’Challa that is an active contributor to the plot and themes of the book while having a sense of agency. He makes plans and so do his enemies, so we should be seeing T’Challa strategizing and thinking ahead with all the flaws and virtues that comes with that.

I'm about sick of "mystery" comics and shows and **** lol. I don't want to wait for the "reveal." It disappoints 90% of the time.
