First New X-Men: New Mutants Appreciation 2019

I know, but in the interview, he say’s there’s going to be a team that have never been New Mutants. I’m willing to wait and see, but I’ve gotten into the New Mutants recently and was pleased to see them.

honestly this is how things should be. I liked the additions of Blink and Nate Grey before and do with Chamber and Mondo. Unless its billed as a nostalgia fest as NM v2 was when it launched, Im here for being inclusive of new characters as the mix up of different generations of X-men graduates makes for interesting combination of characters. People are hung up on the name New Mutants but would the same issue be there if everything was the same and it was called something like Amazing X-men?

Its not THAT big a deal to me buuuuut
What would be the point of calling it New Mutants then? Its not like the characters are getting older. What's wrong with having a set group of characters (im thinking the OG team or other young characters that from that era) that fall within that groups name? You got the O5 Xmen the ANAD X-Men is a set group there isn't a book called The Original 5 X-Men starring AdamX greymalkin, Black Widow and Ghost Rider. I'm not saying there shouldn't be generational mixing but if a team has EyeBoy, Genesis, SharkGirl, that spitter chick, and Karma's cybernetic leg, Why would that it be called New Mutants not just X-Men ?
One of the things I remember liking about the 'Riot at Xavier's' storyline is that The antagonists didn't call themselves some derivative of "The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants'
