Avengers Undercover is ending. After only 10 issues which is a shame.

What's with the .1 issue for Avengers? Seems like it should be an annual instead of a point one.

I was thinking it could be that the .1 will stay in the current time while the normal Avengers goes forward with New Avengers.

Super sad about the cancellation of Avengers Undercover. One of the rare cases where I thought a series would be ending too soon. I was hoping for an 18-20 issue run.

Hopefully Nico, Cullen, Hazmat, Cammi, and Deathlocket's stories will continue somewhere.

If anything there are too many X-Men teen books. I much prefer focusing on adult characters with one or two teen perspectives (a la Jubilee or Kitty).

I'd LOVE this! Al Ewing is hot new talent, and I would like to see someone take over the main Avengers book (let Hickman keep New Avengers, that's where his main plot is happening).

All have significant teenaged cast members
adjectiveless X-men has been giving teenaged X-men a lot of panel time as well

While I agree the X-kids are getting much more shine than they did 3 years ago (YEY!!!), none of the books you listed are an "X-kid book". In all four cases the leads of the comic are adults/teachers. Compare that to New X-men or Young X-men, where both had the leads be kids... those are true X-kid books.

I wouldn't be. I hate when talented writers and artists quit the C-listers to go play with the boring A-listers.
Usually, it's followed by the C-list book tanking and Marvel being all "look, those characters don't sell, screw them all".

Yeah I was hoping for a bit more meat to the solicits than that but I guess they want to give as little away as possible. As for the .1 issue it sounds interesting.

Ewing writing a fill-in for Avengers... A try-out for the main thing? (One can hope.)
