80s heartthrob Jan-Michael Vincent passed away.
"How does the Green Goblin have anything to do with Herpes?" - The Dying Detective
Hillary was right!
Oh no! The stars are dropping like flies!
Jan Michael made some great 70's movies, that were of that time. And he always had perfect hair, lol!
I know Jan had struggled with drugs and the bottle since the 70's. In a way, I am surprised he lasted this long. I think he had been I'll for a while--maybe something with his liver?
It's funny how much younger he looked than he actually was back in the '70s, but his age finally caught up to him by the '80s (and his voice sounded much older than that). Of his work, Hooper and The Mechanic come to mind first.
RIP

Marshall Brodien, magician and creator of TV Magic Cards has died from the complications of Alzheimer's disease at age 84.
He started doing magic tricks as a child, eventually worked as a carnival barker at Chicago's Riverview amusement park. He also performed for some of Chicago's mobsters at their private parties and once had a gun put to his head when it was demanded that he reveal the secrets of the disappearing bird cage trick.
Most viewers of a certain age in the greater Chicagoland era remember him as the wacky Wizzo the Wizard on WGN's Bozo's Circus. Brodien joined the cast that included Bob Bell as Bozo (whose was an inspiration for Krusty the Clown on the Simpsons) and Roy Brown was Cooky the cook.
There were plenty of kids like myself that would have lunch with Bozo, Wizzo (who was a semi-regular) and Cooky.
