I'm a bit of a Ewing fan and reading Ram V's Swamp thing, so this should be a buy.

Man, how did this title get so good?

I stand corrected. It will be The Venom team and Zdarsky according to Marvel.com. Bye Spencer do not let the door hit you on the way out.

All four stories are setting up storylines for later in the year though?

Hopefully Zdarsky is the writer and can do a good Pete story with badass Spider-cation

Ram V and Al Ewing seem kind of...high brow for Venom. Even Hitch seems like an odd fit. But definitely a high profile creative shift.

Hitch will probably do the first arc and come back every now and then, and it may be a case of Ewing helping Ram V for a bit and then it being 100% written by Ram.
I'll still pick it up as I like all 3.

I pretty much called this writer switch for Venom and Hulk about 2 months back. Super excited about it.

I love Ewing, not gotten to read a RamV comic yet, and Hitch is fine I guess. Gonna need a bit more information here to figure out if I’m interested, but either way, Venom seems better off than Hulk in this exchange.

Take your pick, lol. Ram V currently writes Swamp Thing, Catwoman, and Justice League Dark.

Ewing is probably the best writer Marvel has, maybe even competing with Hickman so I'm very interested in this. Hes got big shoes to fill

At the very least Ewing having his way with Venom continuity should be fascinating.

I genuinely thought Cates would be THE run to always look at in terms of Venom. And that everything surrounding it was just okay.

With Ewing on...I think Cates’ run might just end up being overshadowed.

Ewing actually write a better Knull than Cates IMO, so I’m excited to see where this goes.
