    Name: Shiro

    Race/Species: Android

    Age: Unknown

    Height/Weight: 5'8/567 lbs

    Appearance:

    Power Level: 6750

Style: Tetsujin Ryuu ("Iron Man Style")

    Techniques:

Baionikku Sumasshu ("Bionic Smash"): Shiro channels all of her strength into a devastating straight punch.

Andoroido Bariya ("Android Barrier"): Shiro generates a protective spherical barrier around herself to protect against attacks. She can generate the barrier around herself and those close to her to give them protection too. The barrier can take some damage, but will fall against overwhelming force.

Chiyu-te ("Healing Hand"): Shiro touches someone and releases nanites to heal physical wounds on both biological and mechanical beings. The more severe the wound, the longer the nanites take to heal, and they can't reattach lost limbs on biological beings or heal mortal wounds.

Sakushi no joō (Mistress of Illusions): Shiro creates a variety of illusions, from making herself (and others) invisible to making illusion clones of herself (and others), to making herself (or others) look different.

Saibogu Ai Bimu ("Cyborg Eye Beam"): Precise white laser beams shot from Shiro's eyes.

Shiro Finga Bimu ("Shiro Finger Beam"): Shiro fires a beam of white energy at her opponent from her index finger. It's either a single large beam, or multiple smaller beams fired at a very fast rate.

Meteorikku Bāsuto (Meteoric Burst): Through modifications made by Jinzi Pantaloons, Midori and Shiro are able to essentially 'overclock' their bodies, increasing their speed, strength, and energy output. However, doing so causes damage to their bodies, with the longer they keep using it the more damage they suffer, to the point it is potentially fatal.

Taiyoken (Great Solar Fist): The Taiyoken is performed by the user placing their hands close to the center of their face with the fingers spread toward their eyes. Shiro then calls out the name of the technique, which provokes a white light to fire out and blind everything watching except Shiro, since she is projecting the light.

Ama no Iwato (Cave of Heaven Rock): Shiro points the palm of her hand at the opponent, charging a large sphere of white energy before her palm that is fired at the target, where it hits and detonates in a massive explosion.

Uchū no Harō (Cosmic Halo): Shiro executes this attack by raising her index finger into the air and circling it above her head to create a yellow ring of energy, whose appearance is very similar to the Destructo Disc. Once created, she transports the circular energy ring over her opponent, then lowers and closes it around them. This results in the opponent being gripped and trapped within the circular attack.

Shiroi Yari (White Spear): Shiro creates several long 'spears' of ki, one in hand and several floating in the air around her. Throwing the one in her hand, the others follow it. However, unlike most ki-based attacks, these spears pierce and impale the target.

    Items:

    - A capsule wallet containing six capsules. Two are empty and the other four hold:
    • Scooter and helmet
    • Several spares of her outfit
    • A toolkit and parts for minor maintenance on Midori or herself
    • Her secret collection of trashy romance novels

    - A money purse containing her current life savings
    - A hairbrush
    - A photo of her creator/"father"

    Special:

Healing Nanites: Nanites Shiro releases through touch to heal physical wounds on both biological and mechanical beings. The more severe the wound, the longer the nanites take to heal, and they can't reattach lost limbs on biological beings or heal mortal wounds. The nanites have a very short life span, and die after they complete their job.

Pain Ignore: Despite being a robotic being, Shiro was built to feel pain. However, should it be necessary during a fight she has can 'shut off' the ability to feel pain so she can keep fighting despite suffering great damage.

Lifesign Scanner: Like Midori, her eyes can 'scan' an opponent for their vital signs to ensure they're still alive after battle (or dead if necessary). She can also scan an opponent for their power level (though with the same limitations as the scouters used by Universe 7's "Frieza Army"). But unlike Midori, Shiro's can also perform medical scans, allowing her to check heartrate, blood pressure, and search for possible wounds. However, the subject must be able to be seen, thus requiring them to be in sight and meaning large clouds of dust, big pieces of debri, and other things can prevent her from using it.

History: Born in the small country of Saito, Dr. Nijimoto Yoshi had a genius-level IQ and polymath who specialized in robotics, even building an android by the name of Shiro. This android, built to be an assistant in his lab, was deemed his greatest creation, and he treated her more like a daughter than an object. And for her part, Shiro loved her creator as a father and enjoyed being his assistant. The two lived a quiet, peaceful life together in Dr. Nijimoto's lab/home.

But everything changed when the Blue Devil army, under the control of the malevolent Overlord Bastille, attacked Saito. The armies of Saito fought valiantly against the Blue Devil army, but most felt it was only a matter of time until Saito fell under their control. And without help from the World Government, Dr. Nijimoto decided that he would have to create a warrior able to battle and defeat the threat to his country.

Shiro, ever the loyal assistant, joined him in a secret workshop to begin working on what her creator felt was the country's last hope. Working alongside the elderly genius, Shiro did whatever she could to ensure the man's hope came to be. They worked day and night, constantly fearing that the Blue Devil army would find them and ruin everything. But luck was on their side, and they succeeded in creating the warrior, named Midori. However, Shiro felt there was more that she could do, and convinced Dr. Nijimoto to modify her for combat so she could join her 'sister' on the battlefield. Dr. Nijimoto was initially reluctant, but eventually relented to her wishes and did so.

At Midori's side, Shiro charged out into the field to join the battle. With their superior strength, durability, and firepower, they engaged the Blue Devil army in battle. They fought long and hard, and their victories in battle against the Blue Devil army rallied the armies of Saito, who went into battle with renewed fervor.

With the armies of Saito at their back, Shiro and Midori succeeded in defeating the Blue Devil army and toppling the evil Overlord Bastille. Their actions during the battle made the two androids heroes of Saito, and their creator Dr. Nijimoto gained fame as their creator. But as they enjoyed the fruits of their labors, Dr. Nijimoto realized something about his creations, his 'daughters'. They had thoughts, beliefs, opinions, and personalities that made them practically indistinguishable from humans. Curiosity setting in, Dr. Nijimoto offered them the choice to go out into the world to truly find themselves and their place in it while sending him regular reports on their activities.

Shiro was reluctant to leave her beloved creator alone, but the elderly man talked to her and convinced her to join Midori in travelling, though admitting it was largely due to him wishing for her to keep an eye on her little 'sister'. Acknowledging that even for her great combat abilities, Midori's curious and energetic nature could get her into trouble easily, Shiro agreed. With the understanding that doing so was assisting Dr. Nijimoto, even remotely, Shiro joined Midori in setting off into the world to see what it held for them.

    Other:
    - Shiro, due to being created as an assistant to her creator/"father", acts as Midori's 'doctor' while they're travelling.
    - Has a strong, though secret, fondness for trashy romance novels.
    - Got third place in the Smoke City Arm Wrestling Championship, losing to the second place competitor.
    - Like Midori, despite not needing to eat or drink due to being an android, Shiro does enjoy the taste of shrimp-flavored cup noodle
    - Knows why Midori has her collection of shoes and pair of rain boots, and refuses to tell Midori

    Themes:

Character Theme: Steven Universe "Dance of Swords (Extended)"
Battle Theme (Light): Spectre General "Nothin's Gonna Stand In Our Way"
Battle Theme (Serious): Two Steps From Hell "United We Stand - Divided We Fall"
Battle Theme (Victorious): Kill la Kill OST: Final Boss Theme (Sonic Adventure 2/Kill la Kill remix)

Critics who treat adult as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence.

Short characters review, score based on how Dragon Ball-like it feels.

Ajna: I like the FC, backstory is interesting but doesn't feel very Dragon Ball. 5/10.
Asha'rah: Insert comment about what an android is here. Not in love with the FC (doesn't seem like a DB-style machine), but the backstory is fine. Name isn't some obscure robot reference as far as I can tell. 7/10.
Chou: Backstory doesn't seem to match the NPC Kami posted by Cleric, it's absurd enough however. Custom race and the name isn't even a pun?4.5/10
Etrina: What is a "magecraft progeny" or a "magecraft certificate"? Feels like something huge to add to a setting with no details. Time powers seem a bit ridiculous at this power level. The thought of a magic college of some sort just feels very un-Dragon Ball like. 4/10.
Held: Too tired to figure out the pun if there's one. Backstory appropriately silly, unicorn style sounds cool and goofy. 8/10 if there's a name pun, 7.5 if no pun.
Ishtar: Basically no character backstory to speak of. Appearance does fit in Dragon Ball and Toriyama is big on mythological references. I'll give it a tentative 7 until sucha time as there's a backstory shows up.
Jera: Flawless mastery of DB canon and naming scheme, the work of a true genius and impeccable artist, a work of art the likes of which was never seen before. 1000/10.
Kabuto: Insect ew, but not an anti-DB point. Space bounty hunter makes sense enough. Offensive telepathy isn't very DB though. Custom race better have a naming scheme. 6.5/10.
Karine: Vampires are a thing in DB and that's a vampirish enough name. Would like some elaboration on how that kind of vampire works. Magic is sensible enough, but the design doesn't feel very DB. 5.5/10.
Locke: Big guy Wolf Gang Fist user? Jobber alerts are off the scale. Hope you chatted with Cleric about the God of Destruction, that's kind of a big detail to put into play. Also you mention the God of Destruction Khalle Mortis, and immediately after some guy called Ares? I'm assuming that was a last minute name change that you forgot to edit. 7.5/10.
Midori: Feels like more a throwback to old-school DB comedy than Z, but I can see it. 8.5/10.
Ochazuke: Feels a bit generic martial artist-y without a real DB touch aside from putting Crane School stuff in. 7.5/10.
Ogatan: Tyranno-sensei, Dino School. Say no more. I have to deduct points for his own name not being a dinosaur reference though. 8/10.
Ronin: Kais coming from trees seems to have mostly been abandoned by canon, but I can respect old references. The mood of the backstory doesn't feel too DB though. 7/10.
Sarada*: Saiyan is a Saiyan. Name pun exists but feels a bit too indirect. 9/10.
Sasheem: That don't look like no Majin, you can't fool me by throwing a belt on him! Rest is very DB though. 9.5/10.
    Slak*: Namek's gotta Namek. 9/10.
*: Would have a higher score but feel too generic to be important characters.

Overall thoughts: Lack of Saiyans kindaaa makes me want to just bring in my Xenoverse OC. Too many of the magic-involving characters don't feel like they come from DB.

What do you mean, "This evaluation was almost completely useless."?

    Attachment 59740

He wears a green robe with a red sash over this.

    Power Level: 50

    Style: Crane School Apostate

    Techniques

    1) Dodonpa: The signature of the Crane School, a ki beam fired from the finger. By concentrating force through a narrow point, it sacrifices raw destructive power for concentrated piercing damage.

    2) Kiai: Defensive assertion of martial aura to increase defense, usually concentrated through a breath or shout.

    3) Multi-form (partial): Through intense concentration Ochazuke is able to grow extra limbs. He was exiled before fully understanding how to incorporate this **locked**

    Items:

A headband with a taijitu and ba gua. He claims it helps him focus his senses.

    Special:

Mumonkan (The Gateless Barrier): The pursuit of Esoteric mystic power - more a philosophical practice made manifest through martial arts - which is Ochazuke's ultimate goal. He seeks to cultivate his senses through martial practice to see the truth of the world.

    History

Long ago there was a master who groomed five pupils for succession. As each exceeded expectations and brought different parts of the root art to new heights, the master's technique was honoured and elevated by the five. Upon the master's death, however, instead of banding together for the sake of the art, the five turned against each other and quarreled over whose techniques were the strongest and therefore the master's worthiest heir. As the five fingers of the elder master's hand split apart, five schools were establish who continue to fight and scheme against each other. Whether through might or character, saving face called for exhibitions; Cultivated rivalries led to honour duels to the death; subterfuge and underhanded murder conflated vengeance with duty.

A pupil of Crane Master Chahan, Ochazuke is one of a new generation this blood feud expected to continue this war. The roots of the rivalry between the five schools led him to obsess over the original master, and he became fixated with recovering the mother art's original techniques. To this end he attempted to broker peace and share techniques with Mouko, one of the twin mistresses of the Tiger School. Before any real widespread progress could be made in blending the Tiger and Crane styles, Chahan and Ochazuke's fellow students assaulted the Tiger stronghold and all but killed him as they brought his sympathizers in the Tiger faction to ruin.

Forced into exile by this disgrace with enemies all around, Ochazuke continues to fulfill his quest through refining his technique. His obsession compels him to move from beyond what he believes to be a "gateless barrier" against understanding of the fundamental truths of the world and where a warrior's pursuit of strength will ultimately lead. Though fate may have cast him adrift, he is still nonetheless compelled to fight, for to do nothing in a world gone mad is to live slavishly without meaning.

    Personality Notes

    - Ochazuke values the precise execution of intent over a pragmatic ends-justify-the-means approach.
    - In spite of his appearance, his fighting style is based on methodical outfighting and oblique footwork rather than brute force
    - Rigidly blunt and honest, he rarely minces words. He no longer has much respect for ritualized formalities or good graces without merit.
    - He feels compelled to act righteously in the stead of those who have no power, but otherwise remains rather aloof.
    - Though not a complete stranger to city life, he prefers to live on the fringe of society. Therefore his knowledge of technology and current events - outside of the martial arts world - is profoundly stunted.

    Other:
    - Ochazuke is a Japanese dish made by pouring hot tea over cooked rice; simple in its preparation, versatile in its presentation. Chahan translates to fried rice.
    - Voice: Isaac C Singleton Jr.
    - Theme of Ochazuke: Judas Priest - Bloodstone
    - Confront the Past: Hokuto no Ken Raoh Gaiden - Face to Face
    - Fight Against All Odds: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure All-Star Battle - Caesar Zeppeli
    - Mouko and Kenshiko of the Tiger School. May supplement lore/filler pieces, but probably won't show up as NPCs

I see more than one player has adopted Dragon Ball's proud tradition of making people sound delicious. Hannibal Lecter approves. At first glance, he appears to be a peacemaker, one who tried and failed to solve the disputes between the warring schools. But I think if one looks deeper, peace was only a means to an end - his essence is, as you describe, that of a truth seeker. He believes that martial might will lead him to a form of enlightenment, and he may have much to discuss with Asha'rah over this.

The fact that you pointed out his muscular physique belies his outfighter style means, I think, that you chose Ochazuke's portrait with a particular purpose. I wonder if it has significance for his character.

Android 16 was fully artificial, Android 17 and 18 were originally fully human...really fuzzy, that word. Admittedly, Asha'rah's general character concept would work just as well in an Avatar: The Last Airbender game. If tackling the themes underlying Dragon Ball is your thing, you'll like Asha'rah. But she's definitely not a traditional Dragon Ball character outside of the kung fu monk origin.

Not-quite-Tenshinhan who's named after a soupy rice dish of the alternate dimension Crane School isn't Dragonball enough.

Well it's not unprecedented to be honest from a fan perspective, but it seems Cleric's created the campaign setting with the expanded universe and retcons from Super in mind, and therefore more open to different rules and character backgrounds.

Some discussion needs to happen to reconcile all the different magic sources and sub-worlds and such. Probably through PMs as we type *shrug*

These are all dangling plot threads and tropes that will hopefully be tempered by the campaign proper. I seriously have no greater vision right now beyond "Bolo is cool."

    Height: 5'2

    Appearance: (Rough Sketch):

    Power Level: 50

    Style: Sacrifice Illusion

    Techniques:
Ki Sensing: Jera has been taught how to sense energy.
Another World's Illusion: Jera creates an illusionary double of herself thanks to the magic of the Demon Realm. While fully autonomous within its maximum range (equal to Jera's power level in meters), it possesses only a minuscule amount of ki and can therefore be told apart from the real thing easily as long as one focuses on sensing it..
Another World's Sacrifice: Jera's specialty, by transferring her ki to her illusionary double, she can temporarily make it able to interact with objects, though its strikes aren't as powerful as the real thing would be.

Items: Otherwordly Clothes: Jera's clothes are made from a material not native to Earth and that is exceptionally resilient to most forms of assaults. However as they are no thicker than normal clothes, they offer very little in the way of actual protection.

    Special: Unknown

History: A young(?) girl who doesn't quite match any species originating on Earth, she first appeared not long ago and seems remarkably ignorant of the local cultures and locations.
Well, she definitely looks like one of the advisers who are attached to the Gods of Destruction. If so, wonder why she's here and why she's stripped down to Power Level 50. Would be quite the step down for her.

A fellow illusionist (though your character seems more explicitly focused on it). You've reminded me I should better define the limits of Asha'rah's illusion ability.

    APPEARANCE:

Tall humanoid with small feelers/antennae from his forehead. The rest of his body is hidden under light armor, so it’s impossible to tell how the rest of his body looks. The visor sometimes comes off to reveal a human-like face. More details later.

    POWER LEVEL:

    50

    STYLE:

Yurei Kong style (otherwise known as The Dark Style Of The Ghostly Bug).

    TECHNIQUES :

    Shukuchi
This flash-step move is his preferred way of getting around in hurry. Enemies passed through during the move take damage.

    Kabekake
People have long wondered how Gokimushi are able to climb up sheer walls or walk on water. The trick is to balance one's internal Ki. Balance it perfectly, and one can never fall.

    Sensu
Hyper-sensitive feelers are not always fun to have, but being able to read the emotions and intent of those around you can prove invaluable for a bounty hunter.

    Zanzo
It may be narcissitic to create afterimages and clones of yourself by tricking the minds of your enemies, but he doesn’t care. These have no physical presence in the world, but appear real otherwise.

    ITEMS:

    Exoskeleton Space Suit
Light armor suited for atmospheric reentry in case he needs to jump off a spaceship sometime (such a thing may have happened before, why do you ask?).

    Communication device
Standard issue communication device. Connects to the nearby internet connections, should they exist. Has a small holographic display.

    WebberSnapper9000
Small wrist mounted device that fires a small net made of a strong metallic alloy. Useful for capturing and restraining targets.

    Space Buggy
Minature spacecraft to carry 1 individual, and 1 coffin sized storage compartment. Spacecraft is currently inoperable.

    SPECIAL:

Racial Traits - As a member of the Gokimushi race, Kabuto has the following abilities:

    Metamorphosis
    (Locked)
    A miraculous transformation.

    Psi Abilities
In addition to being able to manipulate Ki, the Gokimushi also have latent Psi abilities, projecting their razor sharp minds into those around them.

    Insectoid Physiology
Lack of centralized systems enables maintaining bodily functions and survivability in the face of missing limbs and organs or other fatal wounds. Performance is likely to suffer greatly from missing bodyparts, however.

    HISTORY:

    Years ago…

Little Kabuto was never like the rest of the grubs in his colony. He did not arise from metamorphosis with mind filled with plodding thoughts of work. He despised slaving all day for the survival of the colony, when those around him seemed content with their lot. He wanted something more, something he could never get in his peaceful, boring colony life.
And so it was, that little Kabuto found himself on an alien ship, off the planet he had once called home, and into the unknown expanses of the universe.

    More recently…

It was an easy job. The target had fled to another quadrant in a stolen spacecraft. People usually didn’t get very far in stolen spaceships.
A conversation struck up in a seedy bar in a seedier space port. A name muttered through drunken lips. Earth. A dreary naming convention, as far as planets went.
Okay. Plenty of time to reach Earth, grab the target and head back for the bounty. He didn’t even bother refueling. It was a short trip to Earth and back, after all.
    What could possibly go wrong?
This guy better get nicknamed Carnage at some point. Wonder if Kabuto is a mutation in his species. Insect hives typically require a hive mind, and wouldn't survive the way they do with someone as autonomous as Kabuto. Kabuto's a bounty hunter who can function well as a scout and pursuer. He'll definitely have his niche in the group if he sticks around, I think.

Hush, Siriel gave me a tentative seven. That's like, seven more possible points than I expected.
Yeah, but if you... man, we're getting into weird analogy territory, like if you disintegrated Superman's arms he wouldn't be able to go "fool! Little did you know that my arms and I are one and can be remade from me!" and will his arms back into being from pure nothingness. - Pendaran

Good catch on the typo, except you made a typo when pointing out the typo! :P

If by jobber you mean my guy would consistently get Yamcha'd? Probably.

God of Destruction from some other universe that has nothing to do with what's going on in this universe, referencing the fate of my character from NeoDB some twelve years back, as well as one of my own oft-repeated "boss level" NPCs in my own RPGs I used to put together. It seemed fitting.

You left Meagan off your list.

As well as Roland, Ryuuza (though he's not finished, so meh), Zaofan, and Shiko (though that one was probably too new to make the cut (Also, why even is this?))

I think Meagan is very Dragonball, considering all the many worlds out there and the stories of invaders, like the Sayians, attacking other planets (though usually they just end up blowing them up). Plus she has a pun name - Te'al (teal, color, her whole them is color).

Err.....that one is my bad. I thought I edited out the certificate in post. (Along with the restraining order because yesterdays joke is todays logical nightmare). In this particular case, magecraft is taught more in the family....and shes a progeny because shes exceptionally good at an early age.(I mean.....duh. :P)

The time power is all flash and....even less substance then usual. Its basically just a good, spur the moment healing spell at this level. It'll either fix the problem or it'll backfire in some hilarious but hopefully non-fatal way.
