I like most of them but Marvel has screwed all their relationships so much that I doubt it. At most it could work with Jean and Cable on one team and Cyclops and Rachel on the other.

Although I struggle to see why Stryfe and Madelyne would be doing there. Add Alex and Hope instead.

Apparently from Google: Callahan had a Gaelic form of O Ceallachain, possibly from "ceallach", which means "strife".

So after cyclops Cyclops drinks the elixir Elixir and Dani does something something mirage-y like, Callahan rips off his face to reveal he's actually Stryfe.

I heard about it too, but not sure if it is true. Xavier files guy said he talked with writers and it wasn't true.

That was Quesada's original proposal, though I think they had already decided on a different direction once the Cable solo had begun.
